✨ At Jeevanshala, learning never stops, for children and teacher-learners alike!

• Senior students learnt percentages, while younger children made herbariums to understand plants and leaves.
• Hindi classes focused on assessments and building new words using vowel signs (matras).
• Science came alive through hands-on experiments on physical changes and cloud formation.
• On Saturday, while children enjoyed extended playtime, teacher-learners watched a film by the Muskan organization on innovative teaching methods and reflected on building stronger, more trusting relationships with students.

✨ जीवनशाला में सीखने का सफर सिर्फ बच्चों का नहीं, टीएल का भी है!

• सीनियर बच्चों ने प्रतिशत सीखा, जबकि छोटे बच्चों ने हर्बेरियम बनाकर पौधों और पत्तियों को समझा।
• हिंदी की कक्षा में बच्चों ने आकलन दिया और मात्राओं की मदद से नए शब्द बनाना सीखा।
• विज्ञान की कक्षाओं में बच्चों ने प्रयोगों के ज़रिए भौतिक परिवर्तन और बादलों के बनने की प्रक्रिया को समझा।
• शनिवार को बच्चों के खेल के दौरान टीएल ने मुस्कान नामक शैक्षणिक संस्थान की फ़िल्म देखकर नए शिक्षण तरीकों और बच्चों के साथ भरोसेमंद रिश्ता बनाने पर चर्चा की।

• ⁠while we ensured extra care for children affected by the changing weather.

• Hindi lessons focused on reading stories aloud and building new words with paper cut-outs.
• Children continued creating large maps of India, Bihar, and India’s rivers by colouring states and districts together.
• Admission interviews for Classes 5–8 welcomed new students eager to learn, grow, and become part of the Jeevanshala community.

• ⁠मौसम बदलने से कुछ बच्चे बीमार पद ज्ञ हैं पर हम बच्चों की देखभाल पूरे ध्यान से कर रहे हैं जिससे बच्चे जल्दी ही अपनी पढ़ाई दोबारा शुरू कर सकें।
• ईवीएस की कक्षा में बच्चों ने खेल-खेल में राज्यों की राजधानियाँ सीखीं और सामूहिकता की ताकत को समझा।
• हिंदी की कक्षा में बच्चों ने कहानियाँ पढ़ीं और कागज़ की पर्चियों से नए शब्द बनाए।
• शनिवार की कार्यशाला में बच्चों ने भारत, बिहार और भारत की नदियों के बड़े नक्शों में रंग भरते हुए मिलकर काम किया।
• कक्षा 5 से 8 के नए बच्चों और उनके अभिभावकों के साक्षात्कार हुए। कुछ नए बच्चे अब जीवनशाला परिवार का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं।

✨ Learning has no fixed place at Jeevanshala! Children learnt in the way they felt most comfortable, on the floor, on the walls, and at their own pace.
• Students worked together to clean the playground, learning responsibility through action.
• Instead of buying maps, children created large maps of India, Bihar, and India’s rivers using the grid method. The activity blended art and geography, helping children understand states, districts, and boundaries.
• EVS classes explored different leaves, while language sessions included spoken English, Hindi word-building, and games on Indian states.

✨ जीवनशाला में सीखने की कोई एक तय जगह नहीं होती! बच्चों ने अपनी सुविधा के अनुसार ज़मीन, दीवारों और खुले माहौल में सीखते हुए पढ़ाई की।
• खेल के मैदान की सफाई और निराई करते हुए बच्चों ने मिलकर ज़िम्मेदारी निभाना सीखा।
• बाज़ार से नक्शे खरीदने की बजाय बच्चों ने ग्रिड की मदद से भारत, बिहार और भारत की नदियों के बड़े नक्शे बनाना शुरू किया। इस गतिविधि ने कला और भूगोल को जोड़ते हुए राज्यों, जिलों और सीमाओं की समझ को मज़बूत किया।
• ईवीएस में पत्तियों के बारे में सीखा, वहीं भाषा की कक्षाओं में अंग्रेज़ी बोलने, हिंदी में नए शब्द बनाने और भारतीय राज्यों के नामों के खेल खेले।

✨ Learning by doing, observing, and creating!

•⁠ ⁠Artist Educator Grant Fellow Goldy joined Jeevanshala through the Art1st India collaboration and worked with children through art, touch, and observation.
•⁠ ⁠Children explored vowels in Hindi, tested protein in different foods, and learnt about different types of roots in science.
•⁠ ⁠In the Saturday workshop, students closely observed Jeevanshala and described their favourite and least favourite spaces in detail.
•⁠ ⁠Children explored natural and synthetic fibres through touch and learnt the basics of weaving.
