प्रभात फेरी का उद्देश्य महर्षि दयानन्द सरस्वती के महान विचारों, आदर्शों एवं उनके द्वारा दिए गए “वेदों की ओर लौटो” के संदेश को जन-जन तक पहुँचाना था। विद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं ने हाथों में प्रेरणादायक संदेशों वाली तख्तियाँ लेकर प्रभात फेरी में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। विद्यार्थियों ने महर्षि दयानन्द के जीवन, उनके सामाजिक सुधारों तथा राष्ट्र और समाज के प्रति उनके योगदान को स्मरण किया।🙏🌹

As part of Class IX Civics, Chapter 2 – “Elections,” an engaging activity on the Election Process was conducted at DAV Public School Dhanupara, Ara to provide students with a practical understanding of how elections are conducted in real-life situations.

The activity was designed to transform classroom learning into an experiential learning opportunity. Students actively participated in different stages of the electoral process, including filing nominations, campaigning, casting votes, maintaining voter lists, polling, and counting of votes. They took on different roles such as candidates, voters, polling officers, and election officials.

The mock election helped students understand the importance of free and fair elections, secret ballot, majority rule, and responsible voting. It also enabled them to appreciate the significance of elections in a democracy and the role of citizens in choosing their representatives.

The activity was highly interactive and informative. Students participated with enthusiasm and developed a deeper understanding of the democratic electoral process while strengthening their skills in decision-making, leadership, communication, and teamwork.

I, Ashish Raj, thanks to our Hon’ble Principal, Mrs. Nishu Jayaswal, for her constant encouragement and support. I also express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. B.K. Singh Sir for his valuable guidance, Mr. B.N. Tiwari Sir and Mr. Pawan Ji for their valuable support, and the supporting staff for their cooperation and assistance in making the activity successful.

Most importantly, heartfelt appreciation goes to all the students of Class IX for their active participation, enthusiasm, discipline, and cooperation. Their wholehearted involvement made the activity meaningful, engaging, and successful.

विद्यालय परिवार ने महर्षि दयानन्द सरस्वती को श्रद्धापूर्वक नमन करते हुए उनके आदर्शों को अपने जीवन में अपनाने का संकल्प लिया।

🇨🇮80th Independence Day Celebration🇨🇮 at DAV Public School, Dhanupara, Ara, Bhojpur.

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at DAV Public School, Dhanupara, Ara, Bhojpur, on 15 August 2026. The programme was organised with the aim of commemorating the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and inspiring students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and responsible citizenship.

The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. The school premises echoed with patriotic songs and slogans as students, teachers, and staff participated wholeheartedly in the ceremony.

A variety of cultural programmes were presented by the students, including patriotic songs, speeches, poems, and performances highlighting India's glorious struggle for freedom and its journey as a nation. The students' performances reflected their talent, confidence, and deep respect for the country.

Principal Mrs. Nishu Jayaswal addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Independence Day. The students were encouraged to contribute positively to society, respect the ideals enshrined in the Constitution, and work sincerely for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
