शिक्षा मनुष्य के अन्तर्निहित शक्तियोँ का बाह्य उद्घाटन और उन्नयन है। इसके लिये पात्र मे बुद्दिशीलता(I.Q.),भावशीलता(E.Q) तथा अध्यात्मशीलता(S.Q.) का विकाश करना पडता है। इसमे शिक्षक की भुमिका कुशल नियामक ,निरीक्षक तथा निर्देशक की होती है।समस्त शैक्षिक प्रकियाओँ का मूल उद्देश्य पात्र मेँ सर्जनशीलता(C.Q)का बिकाश होना चाहिये। अगर कोई भी शिक्षाप्रणाली अपने विचार को अगले पीढी पर थोपना चाहती है तो वह प्रणाली दोषपूर्ण है।
