The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Ankleshwar started in the year 1981-82 has been on the roads towards progress and is achieving new heights of success every year. The school is equipped with well furnished Science Labs, Resource Room, Audio Visual Room, Computer Labs, Sports Room and a spacious playground with excellent results every year academically, the school is set to embark upon success.

It is a proud moment for us that we have finally reached the milestone of 500 likes. Although it's not a huge number, but we need to keep in mind the small batch size that graduates each year which is not even a three digit figure, unlike some city schools that add thosands to their alumni base every year.

I had started this page few years back because there were no existing page for KV Ankleshwar, only generic KV pages. This page also helps us in putting our school's name in our profile's About Me section with a proper logo and details like that of an official page.

Soon after creating this page, I had handed over admin rights to Gaurav and Umang (XII Sci. class of 2005/06). They did a fine job of keeping this page active at times when it was not possible for me to be involved with it.

On this page we have people who finished their 12th before I was born and we also have kids who are studying in this school. We have students who have recently finished their schooling here and we also have parents whose children are presently studying here.

I have never met most of you personally, and in all probability, our paths will never cross. But every once in a while, whenever I go through the comments on some of the photos, and I see alumni introducing themselves, searching for their batchmates and expressing their nostalgia, I feel as if we are all part of one closely knit family.

I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for keeping the interaction going and making this an active page.

Looking forward, I would urge everyone to invite their friends who have been part of this school to like this page. I will also think of ways to make this page more engaging and also make sure that it serves a higher purpose, which is, to strengthen the bond among the alumni of this school.
