FISAT Business School (FBS), established and managed by Federal Bank Officers Association Educational Society (FBOAES), is a Management Institution under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi University and recognized by AICTE. FBOAES, formed with the aim of establishing a Center of Excellence for professional education, is an initiative of the Federal Bank Officers Association (FBOA), the sole representati

ve body of the entire officers in The Federal Bank with 35 years of yeomen services to its credit. This is a novel venture from the Federal fraternity, which has operations spread over the entire span of the country and overseas as well. The MBA programme at FBS is designed to provide the knowledge, attitude and skills that are essential to become an effective leader in a multitude of organizational settings. We emphasis on the holistic development of the students and the course work is designed to inculcate a positive and ethical outlook to the students We also have regular interaction sessions with leaders and practising managers from leading business enterprises Workshops and Seminars with joint participation of visiting faculties from business and our students is a regular feature. In letter and spirit we ensure that the faculty plays a major role in running the B school. We have a dedicated team of faculty who are passionate about creating future leaders for Business and Society and above all other building blocks that make the B School, comes the Faculty council. We have adopted a pedagogy that focuses on learn—share—practice principle. We provide them with an environment that ennobles the young minds with strong foundation in content and the right kind of competencies. FBS proved itself to be unique from any other institution by setting up a centre for Local Government and Resources Management (CLGRM) which aims at establishing strong and healthy link between FBS and local governments in Kerala, through studies and consultancy projects in the area of local resources management to local governance.

Celebrating the true spirit of International Women’s Day, FISAT Business School organized a heartfelt initiative to honour the “unsung heroes” of our campus — our dedicated cleaning staff. In association with Kitchen Treasures and Keerthi Nirmal, the event recognized their invaluable contribution to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all.

As a token of gratitude, gift kits were distributed, bringing smiles and appreciation to those who often work behind the scenes. The programme served as a reminder that every role matters and every effort deserves recognition. ✨

KPMG Business Analytics Training Programme – FBS

FISAT Business School (FBS) successfully organized a 4-day Business Analytics training programme for S4 MBA students from 15th to 19th September 2025, in collaboration with KPMG. The programme was designed to equip students with industry-relevant analytical skills, focusing on data-driven decision-making, business intelligence tools, and real-world applications of analytics in management. A total of 120 students actively participated in the training, benefiting from hands-on sessions, expert insights, and practical exposure to contemporary business analytics practices.

The training programme concluded with a significant milestone—the MoU signing ceremony between KPMG and FISAT Business School, establishing a long-term strategic partnership aimed at enhancing academic–industry collaboration. The occasion was graced by Mr. Snehasis Guha, Manager – Transformation (Business Excellence), KPMG; Prof. (Dr.) Jacob Thomas V, Principal, FISAT; Dr. Elizabeth George, Director, FISAT Business School; Mr. P. Vinod Nair, Administrative Officer, FISAT, along with faculty members of FBS. This collaboration marks a major step towards strengthening industry integration, providing students with enhanced learning opportunities, and preparing them for data-driven business environments.

Day 1 Wrap-up: FICMR 2K25 Kicks Off Successfully!

We are delighted to share that the FBS International Conference on Management and Research 2K25 (FICMR 25) officially commenced today at 10:30 AM.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Manu G, Airport Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL), who set the tone for our theme regarding integrating sustainability into management practices.
Following an insightful inaugural session, we have successfully concluded the Day 1 research tracks. It has been a day filled with exchange of ideas and redefining success in the business world.

Now looking forward to Day 2, which promises to be equally engaging with expert Panel Discussions and the remaining tracks of paper presentations.

Mr. Wilfred delivered a powerful talk on "What Awaits You Outside." His key message for our students is clear: Success is an equation of Skill + Attitude + Knowledge.
