FISAT Business School (FBS), established and managed by Federal Bank Officers Association Educational Society (FBOAES), is a Management Institution under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi University and recognized by AICTE. FBOAES, formed with the aim of establishing a Center of Excellence for professional education, is an initiative of the Federal Bank Officers Association (FBOA), the sole representati
ve body of the entire officers in The Federal Bank with 35 years of yeomen services to its credit. This is a novel venture from the Federal fraternity, which has operations spread over the entire span of the country and overseas as well. The MBA programme at FBS is designed to provide the knowledge, attitude and skills that are essential to become an effective leader in a multitude of organizational settings. We emphasis on the holistic development of the students and the course work is designed to inculcate a positive and ethical outlook to the students We also have regular interaction sessions with leaders and practising managers from leading business enterprises Workshops and Seminars with joint participation of visiting faculties from business and our students is a regular feature. In letter and spirit we ensure that the faculty plays a major role in running the B school. We have a dedicated team of faculty who are passionate about creating future leaders for Business and Society and above all other building blocks that make the B School, comes the Faculty council. We have adopted a pedagogy that focuses on learn—share—practice principle. We provide them with an environment that ennobles the young minds with strong foundation in content and the right kind of competencies. FBS proved itself to be unique from any other institution by setting up a centre for Local Government and Resources Management (CLGRM) which aims at establishing strong and healthy link between FBS and local governments in Kerala, through studies and consultancy projects in the area of local resources management to local governance.
