Prof. (Dr) Anilkumar M., Principal, Sree Sankara College, Kalady releases "Signature: The Official Journal of Renaissance"

This fourth edition marks a significant milestone in our journey, celebrating twenty glorious years of delivering alternative education, art and environmental programmes for students. We extend our deepest gratitude to members of teaching and non-teaching staff, to the principal and the management of Sree Sankara College, Kalady. Our thanks are also due to the other academic institutions and organisations that have collaborated with us and supported us. As we commemorate this moment in our special journey, we remain committed to bringing the best to students for them to bring out the best in them through the motto - Creatively Engage the Young. And we look forward to many more years of sharing insightful and inspiring stories.

The publication of ‘Signature ’ the story of Renaissance and its activities over 20 years, was done with a view to constituting a professional forum for exchanging views and experiences on matters relating to education and skill development.

The journal is published to mark special occasions by the Renaissance.

Certificates of the Seed Balls Preparation & Dispersal Camp organised by The Forest Division, Malayattoor in association with Renaissance as part of the mission 'Food, Fodder, Water for Animals & Birds' were distributed to the participants by Prof. (Dr) Anilkumar M., Principal, Sree Sankara College, Kalady.

Renaissance believes that the commitment to our nature and the environment we live in should extend to something more than the act of planting trees. The Environment Day programme is an extension of the nature camps and related programmes. The learnings from nature often translate into art. It is used to further propagate and create environmental awareness on campus. And also, to the next generation.

SYNERGY is part of Renaissance's CELEBRATE LEARNING SERIES. It is based on the performative theatre method of learning. It is an aesthetic combination of the classroom and theatre, which help students understand plays in a new way.

CELEBRATE LEARNING SERIES

Renaissance organise Programmes designed to enhance the skills of its members. These programmes help its members to acquire hands-on experience in areas that enrich life, to increase expertise in various fields leading to a vocation, and to improve themselves as better human beings.

'Reaching Out to the Young: One Day Experiential Learning Workshop' was such a programme designed by Adityan S, Program Manager, Quest Alliance, Bangalore. It took place on 31 January 2026 at Sree Sankara College, Kalady for the members of Renaissance.
