Environmental Day at SMI

SMI SHERBAGH ANANTNAG organized a counseling session for the students and teachers on Monday, 20th November 2023. Speaker of the session was Dr sajad Ahmad parray. In this session Honorable speaker mentioned that Gone are days when schools focused only on academics, Now schools focus not only on teaching values to students but on the overall development (Physical, Mental, Social, Emotional) of the children. These schools help students to acquire knowledge and skills and learn the art of helping society and communities. While addressing the teachers worthy speaker said that the Importance of teaching values to your students today will determine how they will behave when they become adults.
He mentioned it is our responsibility as teachers to provide moral education to our children as early as possible. It may seem that it is too early to teach the importance of ethics to students but teaching from childhood the sense of fairness, sense of honesty and other good values will help them to follow in their life as they grow and it will stay with them forever. Worthy speaker said that the kids are like sponges, they will absorb everything from their environment. So make sure to set a good environment at school where they see or hear good things. The counselling session ended with a prayer note from worthy speaker in which He prayed to allah to make this school a place of growth, learning, and opportunity for all students, regardless of their academic abilities.

Salfia muslim institute sherbagh Islamabad celebrated Children’s day on the 14th November, 2023 with great festive fervour. Students were elated to see their teachers performing different topics and celebrating the day with zeal and enthusiasm. The Chief guest, Molana mushtaq Ahmad veeri sahab in his address encouraged students to dream big and work hard. He also appreciated the teachers for their tireless efforts. He also reminded the students of the extraordinary sacrifices made by prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and asked the students to keep him as an ideal in all their endeavours. The Principal, Mr mubashir Ahmad veeri sahab greeted the children warmly on the special day. He compared the children to beautiful blossoms and motivated them to spread their fragrance everywhere. In short, Children’s Day was marked with grand splendour and fiesta as the school campus buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. It was a day full of joy and inspiration for the students as well as the faculty members.
