Today on _19/03/2023_ a warm farewell function on eve of superannuation of worthy Zonal Education Officer Verinag Mr Manzoor Ahmad Wani Sb ,Head Assistant Zonal office Vng Peerzada Showkat sb & Ist batch of Rehbar e Taleem teachers - Syed Misaq Ahmad Ex DP & other reputed teachers was held under the banner of JKRETTF Zone verinag at cafeteria Verinag in which hundred of teachers all across the zone participated bedsides the teachers Several guests namely Principal HSS Verinag, DP JKTETTF Ang & other participants accord warm farewell to the retires. Finally vote of thanx was disposed to all the participants who managed the time despite of their busy schedule to furnish colours to the event.

A high level delegation of JKRETT Forum unit Anantnag,led by district president Mr Gh Qadir Sofi, WELCOMED the new Chief Education Officer Anantnag Mr Ramesh Kumar Hakim, in his office chamber on his joining the office and asuming the chair. Besides Worthy CEO shahab ,worthy DEPO Anantnag Mr Mohmad Yousuf Jan graced the occasion with his benign presence.
Notable faces in delegation were Ghulam Qadir Sofi(DP JKRETTF Anantnag), Masroor Ahmad (General Secretary),Javaid Ahmad Dar ( ex DP), Mohmad Rafiq-Shangus (Senior member),Abdul Mateen ( Senior Member) Bashir Ahmad Dar (Publicity Secretary),Tawseef Ahmad(District Spokesperson) ,Muzaffar Ahmad Lone, Dildar Ahmad Bhat (ZP Verinag), Abdul Rashid Khanday(ZP Doru), Ghulam Mohi ud Din Nadvi, Tassavour Yaqoob Ganie, Mohmad Rafiq Bhat(ZP Mattan), Gull Mohmad Malik(ZP Qazigund) Ishfaq Ahmad Singh, Wazeer Ahmad Hajam(ZP Srigufwara),Riyaz Ahmad Hargah(ZP Vailoo), Anwar Ahmad Bokhad,Fayaz Ahmad Padder, Mohmad Irfan Shah, Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray, Mushtaq Ahmad Khuchoo, Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie and other members.
The ceremony began with the introductory words of forum General Secretary Mr Masroor Ahmad in which he recollected the needs which were to result in the formation of what presently enjoys the status of being the biggest trade union organization of the UT, JKRTTF. Mr Masroor said that the positive energy should diffuse from the addressed chair to the offices under his sweet control which will improve the work culture of the education sector in the district.

Later the delegation extended warm greetings to the incumbent Chief Education Officer Anantnag with bouquets followed by rhythmic welcome note by the delegation head Mr Gh Qadir Sofi.In his welcome note Mr Sofi stressed upon the importance of education as one of the supreme objects of human existence.Hailing education an element of change Mr Sofi said that for the formation of human capital education is the prerequisite. He said that no illiterate society has ever become an industrial tiger of any stripe. The deputation head also discussed all the burning issues of teaching community of the district,worth mentioning include TBP cases, cancellation of inter zonal deputation of teachers, early disposal of Station permission cases, pendency of in-situ arrears, transfer of TG2 to substantive posts,regularization of CPWs,entery of COVID duties in the service records etc.


CEO Sahab gave a patient hearing to all the issues and demands put forth by the delegation.He sought the cooperation of the teachers and stake holders to take it to the acedamic zeinath and assured the delegation to resolve the pending issues of teachers on priority basis.
The balmy welcome ceremony ended in the vote of thanks by Mr Javaid Ahmad Dar (ex DP) in which he offered sincere thanks to the reigning officer for receiving the delegation cordially and listening to it with patience of a saint.
