RADIO CLASSES LAUNCHED FOR KASHMIRI STUDENTS

Due to the closure of schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of School Education in Kashmir is starting lessons through radio for 5th to 8th standard from Wednesday, reported Press Trust of India (PTI) quoting an official spokesman.

As per a statement issued by the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, the radio classes will begin from 26 May.

The schedule for 8th standard shall be from 10 am to 10.30 am, for 7th standard from 11.30 am to 12 pm, for 6th standard from 12 pm to 12.30 pm and for 5th standard from 03.30 pm to 4 pm, reported PTI quoting the spokesman.

As per the report, the Director School Education, Kashmir has sought cooperation of all stakeholders for successful implementation of the programme in the better interests of the students.

The spokesman said there is a proposal to start tele-classes for 9th to 12th standard from 1 June through DD Kashir and DD Gyan.
