Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of `Id-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates. Anas (RA) also narrated: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to eat odd number of dates. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 13, Hadith 5)

23rd Night = Night of 7th June

Ever wondered why the night of Laylatul Qadr is not 100% known?
Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: The Prophet (peace be upon him) came out to inform us about the Night of Qadr but two Muslims were quarrelling with each other. There is nothing wrong with marrying divorced or widowed women. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) married someone who was divorced on more than one occasion. He married Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) who was a widow. So a gentle message today to the mothers out there :) If your son wants to marry someone who is divorced or widowed please don't bring culture into it, or what people might think. That's not really important is it? Think what ALLAH will think and let's follow the example of our Prophet (peace be upon him) Is there any better example than His...... It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) that: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There are three supplications that will undoubtedly be answered: the supplication of one who has been wronged; the supplication of the traveler; and the supplication of a father for his child."
