Dr Azad Ahmad Shah, popularly known among the people as Molvi Sahab, Doctor Sahab, and Peer Sahab, is a distinguished Islamic scholar, educationist, and spiritual healer from the historic and well-known town of Seer Hamdan in Anantnag. He has devoted his life to the pursuit of knowledge, earning multiple Master’s degrees along with a PhD in Islamic Studies. His academic background reflects not only formal qualifications but also years of deep study, teaching, and engagement with authentic Islamic sources. Because of his ability to explain complex religious matters in a simple and relatable manner, he enjoys wide respect among scholars, students, and the general public alike.
Believing strongly that the future of society depends on balanced education, he founded and manages Modern Public School, Seer Hamdan. An award and appreciation ceremony was held yesterday at Modern Public School Seer Hamdan . Several respected personalities of the area attended the event as special guests. Students who memorized the first Juz of the Holy Quran were awarded and appreciated for their hard work. Ms. Sumaira, our Quranic teacher, was also honored for her dedicated efforts in making this achievement possible.
