𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 :
1. When a Muslim girl is born, she becomes a reason for her father to enter jannah.
When she grows up and marries a man, she completes half of his religion.
2. Islam has raised status of women so high that Jannah (Paradise) lies under their feet when they become a mother
3. Is it a coincidence that the first caller to Islam was a woman named Khadijah? Is it a coincidence that the greatest teacher and transmitter of hadith was a woman named A’isha? Is it a coincidence that the first martyr of Islam was a woman named summaya?
4.Islam gave women the right to:
-Choose the man they want to marry
-Retain identity after marriage
- to divorce
- to get education
- to work
- to own and sell property
- to seek protection by the law
-to vote
-to participate in civic and political engagement
5. In the last sermon (khutbah) of the prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him, said “O people it is true that you have rights over your wives but remember they also have rights over you and remember you have only taken them as wives under Allah’s trust and permission”
6. In a hadith of the prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him, he was asked who to give most respect to, he replied “your mother” the question was repeated 3 times with the same answer and then he replied “your father”
7. Lastly let’s remember the Queens of Paradise:
-Maryam bint Imran
-Asiya wife of pharaoh
-Khadija wife of the prophet
-Fatima daughter of the prophet
May Allah be pleased with them and may Allah send his blessings upon his prophet, ameen.
