HSS Zainapora, in collaboration with the Block Development Office (BDO) Zainapora, organized a cleanliness drive to mark the 150‑year commemoration of Vande Matram. Apart from singing of national song, the event concluded with a pledge to sustain the cleanliness efforts and continue supporting the commemorative activities.

Chief Education officer Shopian organised a programme in collaboration with the sub‑divisional administration and Social Welfare Department at HSS Zainapora as part of the Beti Padhao Beti Bachao initiative. The event formed part of a series of activities commemorating the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram and featured painting and speech competitions among students of cluster Zainapora with the toppers felicitated by Sub divisional Magistrate, Mr. Bilal Ahmad (JKAS) at the conclusion.
The programme aimed to encourage participation of school students, especially girls, in cultural and artistic expression, to highlight the historical significance of Vande Mataram through creative mediums, and to strengthen community ties between the Social Welfare Department, local administration, and HSS Zainapora. Approximately 170 participants took part in the painting and speech contest. Students from HSS Zainapora and other local schools within the sub‑division presented their works, and teachers, officials from the Social Welfare Department, and representatives of the sub‑divisional administration attended the event.

The Srinagar Chapter of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) today organized a grand felicitation ceremony at the auditorium of S.P. Higher Secondary School, Srinagar, to honour the top rankers of the Kashmir Commerce Olympiad (KCO).
Dr. G. N. Itoo, Director General of Schools, Jammu and Kashmir, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
It is pertinent to mention that the Olympiad was organized by the ICMAI Srinagar Chapter in collaboration with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, and involved mentoring sessions and examinations across 17 schools, engaging nearly 2,000 students. During the event, the 2nd rank achiever Falak Nisar from HSS Zainapora, Shopian was awarded with a prize of ₹5,000, a memento, and a certificate of appreciation from Director General School Education G.N. Itoo sir In total, 53 meritorious students from various schools were honoured for their excellence. However Kashmir Commerce Olympiad was dominated by HSS Zainapora whose 26 students qualified the exam including
