ORIENTATION PROGRAMME ON HOLISTIC PROGRESS CARD (HPC) HELD AT HSS ZAINAPORA

Under the patronage of DIET Shopian, a comprehensive one-day Orientation Programme regarding Holistic Progress Card (HPC) under NEP-2020 was successfully organized today at Higher Secondary School Zainapora.
The programme was initiated with a keynote address by Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Wani, Deputy Chief Education Officer Shopian.
Key Highlights of the Programme:
1. Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Wani explained in detail the concept, need and importance of Holistic Progress Card. He said that HPC is not just a report card but a 360-degree reflection of a child's progress – academic, cognitive, socio-emotional and psychomotor domains.
2. Detailed session was held on how to fill HPC on the designated portal, its components, and role of teachers as facilitators.
3. Resource Persons from DIET Shopian demonstrated the practical implementation through PPT presentation and live demo.
4. Participation of all the schools of Zone Imamsahib was ensured, with HOI'S and Nodal Teachers attending with great enthusiasm.
5. An interactive Q&A session was held where teachers clarified their doubts regarding HPC implementation.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal HSS Zainapora thanked DIET Shopian and Deputy CEO Shopian for organizing such an informative programme at HSS Zainapora and assured full cooperation for 100% implementation of HPC in the Zone.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks, leading to a roadmap for fully implementation of the Holistic Progress Card Programme in all schools of Zone Imamsahib in letter and spirit as per NEP-2020 guidelines.
