🩸 **Blood Donation Camp at SRIT**
On the occasion of the **12th death anniversary of Late Sri Aluru Sunki Reddy**, the NSS Unit of **Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology (SRIT)**, in association with the **Government General Hospital** and **Manavatha Voluntary Organization**, organized a Blood Donation Camp.
Students, faculty members and non-teaching staff enthusiastically participated in the camp and donated **151 units of blood**.
**Dr. G. Balakrishna, Principal**, highlighted the importance of blood donation and noted that many patients facing accidents and various health emergencies lose their lives due to the non-availability of blood at the right time. He expressed happiness that blood donation drives like these help in collecting blood and contribute to saving precious lives. He appreciated the NSS team for organizing the programme and thanked the staff of the Government General Hospital for their valuable support in making the camp a success.
**Dr. U. Srinivas, Vice Principal**, congratulated the students, faculty members and staff who donated blood and appreciated their spirit of service and social responsibility. He stated that the institution would continue to organize more such community-oriented programmes in the future.
The programme was attended by **Dr. M. Ranjith Reddy, Vice President**, Heads of various departments, **Sri Tarimela Amarnath Reddy, Convener, Manavatha Blood Bank**, NSS Programme Officers, faculty members and students.
