Merry Christmas!!🎅⛄🎄

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends.

It was surely a Christmas to remember at MISA. The school wore a festive look with bells and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings and a special assembly were organized for the students.
The children were told about the importance of the day,Santa was invited to the school & students welcomed him during morning assembly by singing Christmas carols and a skit was also presented by the students later during the programme.
Thereafter, the Headmistress Dr. Sudha ma'am gave the wishes for Christmas and upcoming New Year.

The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children.
The delightful celebration included children coming in red and white colour party dress, bringing their favourite snacks for class party dancing and sharing the merriment together.

Cheers to another year……
A Joyful present and well remembered past—its to these two things our kids were enthusiastic
There was a proper farewell for 2022 and joyful welcome to 2023 through class parties.
Class party is all about celebrating and making memories together, not just eating junk food together. Kids don't need the junk food to have fun, they came up with several homemade verities of food and had lots of fun sharing it, class parties where fully filled with fun filled activities and sharing. Kids just want to do something out of the ordinary and to connect with both their teacher and classmates in a new way!

May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, and a lot of new inspirations on your life. Wishing you a year fully loaded with happiness.

Makar Sankranti is one of the most auspicious occasions for the Hindus and is celebrated in almost all parts of India in myriad cultural forms, with great devotion, fervor, and gaiety. The celebration of Sankranthi festival reached a crescendo as the students of MISA came together and celebrated the festival in the school premises on 7th January, 2022.

Students narrated how the Harvest festival is celebrated in various States of India and explained the significance of the four days, Bhogi, Makara Sankranthi, Kanuma, and Mukkanuma. Children depicted the significance of Sankranthi, Gobbiyallu, Basavanna, Haridasu etc., with songs and dance performances. There was also a candy segment added to the celebration, which was a fashion parade by our beautiful staff, they walked gracefully depicting traditional dressing styles. Children enjoyed the festival celebration.

It was indeed a splendid morning for the students as the children got a chance to have fun by doing class room activities like Toran making, pot colouring and making of traditional Til laddoos.
The fire of Bogi Manta also flourished with the hope that all our joys and happiness increase manifolds!

Letting the glory of the festival fill our lives with prosperity and good luck.

National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22nd December in MISA to mark the birth anniversary of legendary Indian Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contributions to the field of Mathematics.

The students attended seminar conducted by Dr.Purshottam Reddy.He spoke about Time Management and its importance.Vedic Maths Tricks were informed to the Students by the Maths department.Such events imbibe spirit of problem-solving, going beyond textbooks to encourage critical thinking and logical reasoning.

This celebration will definitely mark the significance of Mathematics in our everyday lives.Before calling off the seminar, Dr.Sudha the principal of MISA expressed her blessings and added that it was a fun filled and joyful day of learning for all the students.

"Children paint their moods in shades of blue”

The Pre-Primary section of Manipal International School celebrated Blue Day on 18th November, 2022. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.

The significance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities. The dress code of the day was blue.
The classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and children were introduced to different shades of blue.

Blue – the colour of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust had a very positive impact on tiny tots bringing in harmony and brotherhood.

It was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of blue colour on our little ones.

It was a mesmerizing memory for the team and students of MISA to get an opportunity to be a part of Asia Pacific Literature Festival organised in collaboration with Alliance University Bangalore on 28.11.2022 (Monday).
It was indeed a wonderful experience for our students as they got a good exposure in the exhibition of knowledge and art.They met with renowned writers, attended speaking sessions by internationally famous writers, authors, poets & speakers.
They also attended the seminar- River of Life by the author - speaker Mr Victor Mallet, writer of the book River of Life, River of Death and from school's end, all the students who have attended the Fest, have received a Book "PASHU" by 'Devdutt Pattnaik'.
The day was eventful and full of fun and enjoyment with the support of the volunteers and Sharmistha mam.

On the occasion of Children's Day, Bellary Chess Association conducted the National wide tournament in two categories U-16 & U-12.
Three students from MISA participated in this competition - Krishna Karthik (G7), Ananya Gandikota (G6) and Abhigna Gandikota (G4).
We are happy to announce that two of our students bagged prizes.

🏆Krishna Karthik B stands as an unbeatable player of the tournament and achieves the joint winner title of the U-12 category.

🏆Abhigna of G-4 sealed the deal with 3rd place in the Under-10 Category.

This year, Thanksgiving at MISA was all about giving thanks to the people who deserve it the most - our support staff 🧡
It is easy to get caught up in our daily tasks and overlook how important it is to express gratitude. We're so glad that thanksgiving day gives us the opportunity to pause and count our blessings.
Here's to our hardworking support staff who do such an amazing job and are always ready to help us out! To celebrate them and their efforts, our Preprimary Children Team organized a wholesome Thanksgiving day which was followed by thankyou card distribution.
