Hands-on Session on Verilog Programming Successfully Completed ๐
The Hands-on Session on Verilog Programming was successfully conducted on 20 August 2026 at A D Patel Institute of Technology, CVM University, CVM UNIVERSITY , with the participation of 40 students of Electronics and Communication Engineering discipline.
The session was designed to provide students with practical exposure to the fundamentals of Verilog HDL, including basic syntax and program structure, writing and understanding Verilog code, and simulation of basic digital designs. The hands-on approach enabled participants to connect theoretical concepts with practical implementation and gain an initial understanding of HDL-based digital design and RTL development.
The session received encouraging feedback from the participants. 22 participants submitted feedback, with an overall average rating of approximately 4.86/5 for clarity of Verilog fundamentals, understanding of syntax and structure, and demonstration of Verilog coding and simulation. The interaction and explanation by the resource person received an average rating of approximately 4.91/5.
The feedback reflects the effectiveness of the session in introducing students to Verilog programming and encouraging them towards practical learning in the field of Digital Design, VLSI and Semiconductor Technology.
This initiative is part of our continued efforts to strengthen hands-on technical skills, industry-oriented learning and semiconductor-focused education among students.
