Shristi English Medium School

Shrishti English Medium School, Lambhvel, in association with Dhinga Masti Academy, organised an Inter-School Drawing Competition on the theme Ramayana on 2nd October 2025 at Ramakrishna Seva Mandir, VV Nagar.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools. Every participant was awarded a certificate, while the winners received both prizes and certificates as a token of appreciation for their talent and hard work.

The competition was judged by Ms. Keyuri, our esteemed art teacher, who not only evaluated the drawings but also explained the uniqueness of each winning entry during the prize distribution ceremony. Her insights encouraged the young artists to continue nurturing their creativity.

The program was graced by our Principal, Mrs. Parul Rayappan, with her encouraging presence. In addition, special prizes were sponsored by Ramakrishna Seva Mandir, making the occasion even more memorable.

It was indeed a matter of great pride and joy to host children on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra and to help them connect with the values of our rich culture through the epic of Ramayana.

**Celebrating Guru Purnima at Shristi**

Today, our school held a special assembly to celebrate Guru Purnima, honoring our dedicated teachers and the wisdom of Goddess Saraswati. The event featured the recitation of traditional hymns, heartfelt student performances, and inspiring speeches. We expressed our gratitude for the invaluable contributions of our teachers and invoked Goddess Saraswati's blessings for knowledge and success.

The National Science Day celebration was an enriching experience at Shristi which was celebrated for 2 consecutive days on 28th and 29th February 2024.

*1st Day Celebration*
Our students from class 11 science stream started celebration with a brief introduction to the significance of Science Day and its relevance in modern society.
Science Quiz which covered various scientific topics was organized to engage students and promote learning.
Experiments Demonstration was conducted by our class 9 students. The live science experiments were demonstrated scientific principles in action by using daily purpose materials and also made them interactive and fun.
Poster making activity was encouraged for students to create and showcase their creativity in which they displayed the famous scientists, important discoveries and scientific phenomena.
Our President madam Ms Madhumita Jana gave a talk on their area of expertise in science field, inspiring students and providing real-world context to scientific concepts.
Science-themed skit which was related to one of the SDGoals was performed by students which made learning entertaining and memorable.
Dance performance added an extra entertainment to the celebration.
By incorporating a variety of activities, Science Day celebration was both educational and enjoyable for students, fostering a love for science and exploration.

*2nd Day Celebration*

One of our parents from Beginners Dr Manoj Acharya Dhrishna's father and his team from Zydus Hospitals organised a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Training Session for our students and teachers and other staff members.
It was very interesting and interactive session on health, hygiene and sanitation by the docter in which students were engrossed in listening and learning. Dr Acharya explained how CPR is crucial for everyone as it can mean the difference between life and death in emergency situations. By knowing CPR, individuals can significantly increase the chances of survival for someone experiencing cardiac arrest, whether it's a family member, friend, coworker, or even a stranger.
