The Extension Education Institute (EEI), Anand, successfully organized an On-Campus Training Programme on “Gender Budgeting and Sensitization in Agriculture and Allied Sectors” from 17/08/2026 to 21/08/2026.
A total of 22 participants from various Line Departments, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and other allied sectors, representing the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, participated in the programme. The training aimed to enhance participants’ awareness, understanding, and sensitivity towards gender-related issues in agriculture and allied sectors.
During the training programme, sessions on Gender Budgeting and Gender Sensitization were conducted. Participants also undertook field visits covering various areas related to gender-responsive approaches and initiatives in agriculture and allied sectors.
