🎓 Alumni Guest Lecture | Inspiring Future Achievers

The Alumni Cell of G. J. Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies & Research successfully organized an insightful guest lecture on "How to Prepare for AIAPGET, GPSC & UPSC Examinations" on 29th June 2026.

We were privileged to welcome our distinguished alumnus Dr. Dhimant Talajiya, who shared his valuable experiences, effective preparation strategies, and career guidance with the students. His inspiring journey and practical insights motivated aspiring Ayurvedic professionals to pursue excellence in higher education and competitive examinations.

A total of 80 students of BAMS Batch 2022 enthusiastically participated in this interactive session and gained valuable knowledge about exam planning, time management, and career opportunities.

We sincerely thank Dr. Dhimant Talajiya for his motivating session and continued support towards nurturing the future of Ayurveda.

CVMU’s GJPIASR Marks 12th International Day of Yoga with Week-Long Workshops and Grand FinaleAs part of the 12th International Day of Yoga (IYD) celebrations, the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga at GJPIASR (managed by CVMU) successfully hosted a series of health and wellness initiatives.The activities included:6 Day Meditation Workshop: Specially organized to help faculty and teachers rejuvenate and manage stress.Hands-On Yoga Training: Two specialized interactive sessions conducted for second-year BAMS students to deepen their practical skills.The Grand FinaleThe week-long celebrations culminated on June 21st with a mega yoga session organized by CVM University (CVMU). Held at the Pramukh Swami Community Hall in Jitodiya, Sangadpura, the event saw an overwhelming response. More than 357 enthusiastic participants from GJPIASR gathered to practice collective yoga, showcasing the institution's vibrant commitment to holistic health.

National Digital Poster Competition on Menstrual Hygiene 2026: Tradition, Equity and Sustainability was conducted online. During the session, the results were announced and all the posters prepared by the participants were displayed. The entire event was also streamed live on YouTube for all participants and viewers. The competition was evaluated by a panel of three esteemed judges:
1. Dr. Madhuri Dalvi Pawar, Professor and Head of Department, RSBK
2. Ms. Palak Patel, Assistant Professor, Department of Nursing, CVM University
3. Dr. Bhashanjali Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Panchkarma, GJPIASR

Prasuti Ta**ra and Stri Roga department of GJPIASR and SGPAH & MH conducted the 40 th session of GARBH SANSKAR on 16/5/26;
2 patients were benefitted. They were educated and trained about importance of Garbha Sanskar, trimester wise Yogasana, Pranayama and Pathya-apathya aahar, vihar. The session was followed by Garbha samvad, Music & Mantra therapy.

They have done activity including story writing for Garbha Samvad and listed out their desirable Physical, Mental, Spiritual attributes of baby for affirmation chart making activity.
