IIMAm welcomes the new cohort of the Senior Management Program (SMP), inaugurated on 16 August 2026.

Designed for senior executives and entrepreneurs, this 10-month open-enrolment executive education programme combines weekend virtual sessions with an immersive on-campus experience, creating opportunities for strategic learning, leadership development, and meaningful professional connections.

The inauguration was graced by Prof Samir Kumar Srivastava, Director, IIMAm, Dr Gurbir Singh, Dean, Research & Strategic Initiatives and the Program Directors, Dr Arun Kumar Kaushik, Dean, Administration, and Dr Mahima Gupta, Chairperson Executive Education, along with other faculty members.

The session also featured an engaging interaction where participants introduced themselves, connected with fellow participants, and interacted with faculty members setting the tone for a collaborative learning journey ahead.

📚✨ Celebrating Books, Knowledge & the Spirit of Learning!

IIMAm celebrated the 134th National Librarian’s Day by organising a two-day Book Exhibition on 12-13 August 2026, honouring the legacy of Padma Shri Dr S R Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India.

The exhibition brought together 25 publishers and distributors from across India, creating a vibrant space for the IIMAm community to explore an extensive collection of books across diverse subjects. From Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to the Constitution of India, the exhibition featured something across a wide spectrum of disciplines. 📖

With publications from Indian and global publishers and books available in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, the exhibition offered a rich mix of knowledge, ideas, perspectives, and resources.

Across two days, faculty, staff, and students had the opportunity to browse new titles, discover diverse areas of interest, and celebrate the simple joy of finding a good book. 🌟

Congratulations to Dr Semsang Dolma Bomzon on her recent publication titled “Evaluating the Impact of Entrepreneurship Policies on New Venture Performance” in the International Journal of the Economics of Business, co-authored by Dr Subhadip Mukherjee and Dr Ashutosh Bishnu Murti.

The research examines the impact of entrepreneurship policies on new venture performance, offering insights into how policy interventions can shape the growth and outcomes of emerging businesses.
