*Outstanding Achievement of Students of Shahzada Nand College,Amritsar in BBA Semester-IV*

Students of Commerce and Business Administration Department of Shahzada Nand College, Green Avenue, Amritsar, brought laurels to the college in the academic field by performing brilliantly in the BBA Semester-IV examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University in May 2026. Gurwinder Singh secured first position by securing 8.27 SGPA, Gaurav Sareen secured second position with 8.09 SGPA and Shubman Kaur secured third position with 7.36 SGPA. On this proud achievement, College President Mrs. Sushma Mehra and Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.

Student *Ransha Singh* of class 10+1 medical won *Silver Medal* at District Level U-19 Boxing Championship held at Khalsa College, Amritsar & got selected for State Level.

Shahzada Nand College,Amritsar Celebrates Excellent Results of PGDCA Semester-II

Shahzada Nand College, Amritsar, proudly celebrates the excellent results of PGDCA Semester-II, 2025–26.
Anjali Chalania secured 1st position in the college with 8.38 CGPA, followed by Gobind Kumar (2nd, 7.75) and Akashdeep Singh (3rd, 7.44). Daljeet secured 7.25 CGPA.
Esteemed President of the College Managing Mrs. Sushma Mehra and Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated the achievers and wished them continued success.

*NCC Enrollment at Shahzada Nand College, Amritsar*
NCC Enrollment Session was organised to select First Year students as NCC cadets. The session was conducted under the able guidance of Colonel Mohit Thapa,Commanding Officer 11 Punjab BN NCC, Amritsar. A total of 50 first-year students from various streams participated in the enrollment drive . The selection process, facilitated by Unit officials, comprised two stages: a physical test and an interview.
Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and CTO Mrs. Amandeep Kaur warmly welcomed the new cadets and briefed them on the rules and objectives of NCC.

Shahzada Nand College, Amritsar Commemorates Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

Shahzada Nand College, Green Avenue, Amritsar, commemorated Partition Horrors Remembrance Day under the directions of the Government of India to honour the victims of the tragic Partition of 1947 and remember its painful human cost.
The programme, organised by the Punjabi Department under the patronage of Mrs. Sushma Mehra, President, College Managing Committee, and the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, aimed to sensitise students towards the values of humanity, peace, tolerance and brotherhood.
Students participated in essay writing, poster-making and speech activities, reflecting upon the suffering and experiences of people during Partition. Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Reena Talwar emphasised that history teaches us the importance of unity, peace and communal harmony.
The programme concluded with heartfelt tributes to those who lost their lives and those affected by the tragedy of Partition, fostering historical awareness, human sensitivity and national unity among the students.

🌱 NCC Army Wing Organises Tree Plantation Drive

On 13th August 2026, NCC Army Wing of Shahzada Nand College, Amritsar organised a Tree Plantation Drive under the directions of Colonel Mohit Thapa, Commanding Officer, 11 Punjab Battalion NCC, Amritsar, under the patronage of Mrs. Sushma Mehra, esteemed President, College Managing Committee, and the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar.
Principal Dr. Reena Talwar appreciated CTO Mrs. Amandeep Kaur and the NCC cadets for their dedicated efforts in successfully conducting the drive and contributing towards environmental conservation and a greener future.
