We are proud to share an outstanding achievement by our NCC cadets.

The Inter Battalion Competition under Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) was held from 28th May to 6th June 2026, with participation from 1 Punjab Battalion , 7 Punjab Battalion, 9 Punjab Battalion, 11 Punjab Battalion , 22 Punjab Battalion and 24 Punjab Battalion.

04 cadets from our school participated in the firing competition. Gurjappreet Kaur secured First Position in the firing competition among 50 girl cadets.

Moreover, our these four cadets are selected for next firing camp:

🎀 Declamation Competition

To encourage critical thinking, public speaking, and awareness about democratic values, a Declamation Competition was organized for the students of Classes XI and XII on the theme β€œDemocracy.”

The students participated enthusiastically and eloquently expressed their views, insights, and perspectives on the significance of democracy, citizens’ rights and responsibilities, and the role of Women in strengthening democratic principles. Their thoughtful speeches reflected a deep understanding of the topic and showcased remarkable confidence, communication skills, and creativity.

The competition provided a valuable platform for students to voice their opinions, enhance their oratory skills, and develop a greater appreciation for democratic ideals.

To spread awareness against the growing menace of drug abuse in society, SGTBPS Khankot organised a Street Play for Students which was presented by the Red Art Club.

Through impactful performance, the members of Red Art Club highlighted how harmful elements in society often target young minds, leading them toward addiction and a path of self-destruction. The play also portrayed the painful reality of how substance abuse not only ruins individuals but deeply affects entire families.

The presentation carried a strong social message and encouraged students to stay aware, make wise choices, and work together to build a healthier, drug-free society.

⚽ Inter-House Football Tournament 2026 ⚽

With great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Public School, Khankot successfully conducted its Inter-House Football Tournament from 12th May to 15th May 2026. The four houses β€” Sbz. Ajit Singh Ji House, Sbz. Jujhar Singh Ji House, Sbz. Zorawar Singh Ji House, and Sbz. Fateh Singh Ji House β€” participated with remarkable zeal and competitive spirit.

The grand finals were held on 15th May 2026, where students displayed exceptional teamwork, stamina, coordination, and determination on the field.

SGTBPS Khankot proudly organized the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity.

The ceremony marked the formal appointment of the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, and Vice Sports Captain, along with other esteemed members of the Student Council. The school’s four housesβ€”Sbz. Ajit Singh Ji House, Sbz. Jujhar Singh Ji House, Sbz. Zorawar Singh Ji House, and Sbz. Fateh Singh Ji witnessed the selection of their House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captains, Vice Sports Captains and the members of Prefectorial Board.

Principal Dr. Simranjot Kaur and Vice Principal Mr. Satjinder Singh adorned the newly elected council members with sashes and badges, symbolizing their responsibilities and leadership roles. The Student Council solemnly took the oath to serve the school with honesty, dedication, and integrity while upholding its values.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal encouraged the students to lead with wisdom, responsibility, and sincerity.

The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, instilling a strong sense of leadership and commitment among the students.
