SGHPS GT Road

SGHPS GT Road Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road, came into existence under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan in 1967.

It was founded in the name of Sri Guru Harkrishan Ji, the eighth Guru of Sikhs. It is the first institution in the region to be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. During the span of 50 years, it has become the forerunner of the chain of such institutes.

A grand Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public school, G.T. Road to felicitate the outstanding achievers of Class XII CBSE Board Examination- 2026. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and pride in the presence of students, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests.
Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar President Chief Khalsa Diwan and MLA South was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The program commenced with the recitation of Shabad . S. Rabinderbir Singh Bhalla Member Incharge in his welcome address congratulated the students for their remarkable academic achievements. Principal Mrs. Kawalpreet Kaur appreciated the relentless efforts of the students, teachers, and parents in bringing laurels to the school.
The ceremony also featured colourful cultural performances by students of XI and XII, which added vibrancy to the occasion. The toppers from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams were honoured with Medals, certificates and clocks amid loud applause from the audience.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride as the proud achievers shared their experiences and expressed gratitude towards their teachers and parents. Japjeet Kaur brought laurels to the school by scoring 99.2 % and for being the State topper in medical stream. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
