Today, the staff and senior students of Sant Gopal Public School, Wadala, came together to organize a Sukhmani Sahib Paath in remembrance of the supreme sacrifice of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Guru of the Sikhs.

Guru Arjan Dev Ji embraced martyrdom with unmatched courage and calmness during the intense summer heat, choosing to uphold truth, justice, and the Sikh faith rather than bow before tyranny. He was made to sit on a hot iron plate and scalded with burning sand, yet he remained immersed in the divine name, accepting God’s will with serenity.

This Paath, held amidst the ongoing heat wave, reminds us not only of his physical suffering but of the spiritual strength and unwavering faith he demonstrated. May we always remember his sacrifice and walk on the path of peace, humility, and righteousness that he showed to the world.

Baisakhi Celebrations with Our Little Stars!
Today, our kindergarten corridor was filled with colors, laughter, and the vibrant spirit of Punjab as we celebrated the joyful festival of Baisakhi!

Our little ones looked absolutely adorable in traditional Punjabi attire—tiny turbans, phulkari dupattas, and the brightest smiles you’ve ever seen! The day began with fun-filled storytelling sessions where our curious learners discovered the meaning and cultural importance of Baisakhi.

The celebration continued with energetic Bhangra moves, cheerful music, and lots of happy giggles. Little hands clapped to the beats of the dhol, while their enthusiastic dance steps brought the whole place alive with festivity. Teachers joined in too, making it a beautiful celebration of tradition, joy, and togetherness.

At this tender age, we believe it’s so important to instill values, culture, and a love for festivals—and today was a beautiful reminder of how learning can be fun, meaningful, and memorable.
