🎓✨ Convocation Ceremony 2026 ✨🎓

Under the aegis of Sant Singh Sukha Singh (SSSS) Khalsa Educational Institutions, Amritsar, a Joint Convocation Ceremony for three SSSS colleges was held on April 25, 2026. Around 480 graduates and post-graduates were awarded degrees on this proud and memorable occasion. 🎉

The ceremony commenced with the French play Necklace, followed by a warm welcome by S. Jagdish Singh Ji (Honorary Secretary & Director). Principal Mrs. Savita Khanna presented the report highlighting the achievements and progress of the three colleges.

Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji (Additional Director, SSSS) delivered the convocation address on behalf of Justice Ranjit Singh Randhawa Ji (former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court), congratulating the graduates and wishing them success in their future endeavors. 🌟

Dr. Manpreet Kaur, while presenting the citation, reflected upon the ideas and ideals of visionary Director Jagdish Singh Ji, inspiring all present with her thoughtful words.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and guests of honour, making the occasion truly prestigious.

🌍 Earth Day Celebration 2026 🌱
🗓️22 April 2026

SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar celebrated Earth Day with a Tree Plantation Drive organized by the NSS Unit in collaboration with the Rotaract Club at Punjab & Sind Bank, SSSS Chowk, Amritsar. 🌿

Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji and Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur Uppal appreciated the students’ efforts towards a greener and sustainable future. 🌎✨

The event reflected the college’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility and community service.

The Department of Economics of the College successfully organized a special session on the Union Budget 2026–27 on April 13, 2026 to enhance students’ understanding on the country’s financial framework.

Students of M.Com Sem IV— Chanpreet Kaur, Aleena Singh, and Sneha Mahajan delivered a well-prepared and insightful PowerPoint presentation highlighting key aspects of the budget.

The session proved to be highly engaging and interactive, encouraging students to actively participate in discussions. A total of 68 students from B.Sc (Economics) - Semesters II, IV, and VI and BBA Semester IV attended the session.

To enrich the learning experience, a video showcasing the history and important facts about the Indian Budget was also presented, helping students gain a broader perspective on its evolution and significance.

Mrs. Ravneet Arora, Head of the Department of Economics, applauded the efforts of the presenters and appreciated their excellent work. She also shared valuable insights into the various rituals and traditions associated with the Indian Union Budget, making the session more informative and meaningful.

Overall, the session was a great success, providing students with valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of the Union Budget.

✨Bidding Goodbye with Pride – SSSSian Fiesta 2026 ✨

SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar hosted its grand annual farewell “SSSSian Fiesta” on April 11, 2026, at the Vidyak Bhavan Auditorium, bidding a heartfelt goodbye to our outgoing UG & PG students. 💫

The event was filled with vibrant folk & Bollywood dance performances, soulful songs, fun games, and an exciting modeling round. Students dazzled the stage in stunning traditional & modern outfits, adding colour and charm to the celebration.
