Boun Lai Heua Fai, also known as Festival of Light Boats, is a homage to the Mekong River, the ‘Mother of All Things’ 🌊. It is hoped that the Nagas (water spirits) will bring good luck to the residents. Lao people build and decorate boats on the days leading to the festival ⛵⛵
We celebrated this festival with our children during the last week. The objective behind celebrating this event was to :
• Create awareness about another culture.
• To inculcate respect and values for preserving rivers, water bodies and mother nature.
This Independence Day, let’s honour the past, celebrate the present, and strive for a better tomorrow for us.
On this day, let’s come together as one nation, united in our love for our country.

National Handloom Day, observed every year on August 7, is the celebration of the Indian wondrous weaves handspun and handwoven by artisans and weavers across the country.
We celebrated it yesterday with our champions. Through these activities, children learnt about different types of clothes and the process of weaving. Moreover, it also helped in developing their fine motor skills 🌈🌟🎉

Rhyme Recitation Presentation 🌟
Our tiniest ones from DR & EW delivered mind blowing performances at the Rhyme Recitation Presentation held on Friday, 28th July. We were thrilled to see the efforts put in by our wonderful parents which was evident in the performances 🌈

BORYEONG MUD FESTIVAL :
It was first celebrated in Boryeong, South Korea in 1999, The festival is centered around the mineral-rich mud, which is harvested from the nearby Boryeong mud flats.
We celebrated this International festival as our little ones participated in a wide range of mud related activities.
These activities not only helps in fine motor development of the child but also makes them learn about mud and soil.
