*A Holi Celebration with a Difference!*
Not just colours in the air — but colours in learning, connection and culture.
Our children explored natural hues, flower petals and experienced Holi in its purest, gentlest form. Activities were thoughtfully designed — not overwhelming, not overstimulating — just meaningful opportunities to discover, participate, collaborate and celebrate.
It was joyful.
It was immersive.
It was beautifully messy.
Just the way childhood should be.
Here’s to experiences that stay in little hearts long after the colours fade.
Happy Holi from all of us at Team Doon Toddlers!

What a spectacular way to end our celebrations- League of Legends 2.0! Our little legends truly stole the show — confident, energetic, and full of team spirit.
The proud March Past set the tone for the day, with our young champions walking tall and showcasing discipline, coordination and pride. It was a sight to behold!
We were deeply honoured to welcome Shri Surinderpal Singh Parmar, ADGP Law & Order, Punjab Police, as our esteemed guest. His gracious presence and inspiring words encouraged our children to dream big, stay disciplined and always give their best.
Our Directors and Principal, warmly welcomed and honoured him, making the occasion even more memorable. Their speeches celebrating all the winners and highlighting every child’s unique skills filled the air with pride and joy.
From teamwork to confidence, resilience to sportsmanship — our little champions demonstrated it all. What a powerful way to move towards the end of the year — with applause, achievement and unforgettable memories!

Watching our little learners hold the microphone for the first time is always a special moment.
Some begin with shy smiles, some with excited giggles and others with proud, confident voices — but every child grows a little braver each time they speak. At Doon Toddlers, our “Today I Can…” programme introduces mic usage and public speaking in a gentle, joyful way through presentations.
These moments help children build confidence, language skills, listening skills and self-expression. They learn to speak clearly, wait for their turn, respect others’ voices and feel proud of sharing their thoughts.
And yes — along the way, we even get some adorable mic-drop moments.
Because when children find their voice early, they grow into confident communicators for life.

“Today I Can Say…..”
Our Christmas public speaking time at Doon Toddlers was truly heartwarming. Watching our little ones walk up with confidence, smile shyly and then proudly share their thoughts about Christmas, Santa, and holiday fun was a beautiful moment for all of us. Each child had their own sweet way of speaking—some bold, some soft, all absolutely adorable. More than just speaking, it was about joy, courage and happy memories.
Kudos to our young ones for this beautiful, confident presentation.

Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Doon Toddlers
Today, our little children at Doon Toddlers celebrated the Prakash Purab (birth anniversary) of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru.
The celebration began with a simple, heart-warming story from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s early life — sharing how, even as a child, he showed kindness, compassion and a deep love for all living beings.
Our tiny learners joyfully chanted “Satnam”, filling the school with calm, happy energy. Through age-appropriate sakhis, children understood Guru Ji’s beautiful teachings:
Naam Japo – Remember God with a pure heart
Vand Chhako – Share what we have with others
Kirat Karo – Work hard and be honest
To help bring these values to life, children participated in a special sharing-day activity, where they brought food from home and shared it with their friends — just as Guru Ji taught us to share with love.
The celebration concluded with the serving of Karah Prasad and the children respectfully covered their heads during the celebration as a mark of gratitude and respect.

*Learning and practising to write — focusing on this important skill!*
At Doon Toddlers, writing begins with joyful exploration and the right habits. Our little learners are gently guided to hold the pencil correctly, build fine-motor strength and develop good writing posture — step by step.
Through theme-based worksheets, creative activities, tracing and playful mark-making, children learn lines, curves, shapes, letters and numbers in a fun and meaningful way.
We celebrate each scribble, each effort and each proud smile —because little hands today become confident writers tomorrow.

Our Lower Beginners (15 months–2 years) are busy at play with a fun teddy bear drop-in game! While it may look simple, this activity sharpens hand–eye coordination, builds fine motor skills, and introduces early problem-solving. At Doon Toddlers, every playful moment is a stepping stone toward strong developmental foundations.

Our Movers (4–5 years) had a colourful day painting tyres! Beyond the fun, this activity builds hand–eye coordination, strengthens fine motor skills, and sparks creativity. When children paint, they’re not just adding colours they’re learning focus, patience, and self-expression. At Doon Toddlers, every brush stroke is a step toward holistic growth!

At Doon Toddlers, our learners turned into little shopkeepers and happy customers, filling baskets with fresh fruits, crunchy veggies and farm-fresh fare. They explored the exciting world of food through counting, tasting and texture activities. From the crunch of cucumbers to the softness of bananas, from the tang of oranges to the sweetness of watermelon – every bite was a new discovery!
Through these activities, our children learnt to:
• Develop their sense of taste and texture awareness
• Strengthen sensory exploration skills
• Build curiosity and confidence in trying new foods
• Learn about healthy eating in a playful way
Tiny bites, big smiles, and loads of giggles – that’s how we make learning delicious at Doon Toddlers!
