TACHYON 4.0! : An event organized at Department of Electronics Technology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Amritsar 7-8 November 2023 — Carrying the legacy, the Electronics Student Forum (ESF) organized a two day annual event at Department of Electronics Technology, GNDU. ESF is a student body which is managed by the students. It has various teams to ensure the proper functioning. The tech-fest TACHYON 4.0 witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of tech enthusiasts, talented participants, innovators, and sponsors from various domains. It was a Diwali-themed Festival that brought sheer brilliance and positivity in students.
Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Head of the Department, Electronics Technology, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the guest of Honor Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi (Dean Student Welfare) for his presence. He also extended his thanks to the dedicated team of faculty members and professionals who played a pivotal role in making TACHYON 4.0 a resounding success.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, alumni, prominent collaborators like
Organized under the guidance of prof. Er. Jaspreet Kaur and Er. Rajandeep Singh, it was a holistic experience. The faculty, ESF Teams, teaching and non-teaching staff, everybody worked in a sync to make it a succes. The fest unfolded over two exciting days, beginning with a grand welcome ceremony by the department representative Kaushiki Dhawan honoring the guests. Day-1, i.e., November 7 was deliberately called an “Ethnic Day” where all the team heads, proffessors and participants celebrated their ethnic attire. The Ethnic Day began with Smasher’s League, followed by Robo war and Talent Hunt. Day-2 was opened by the convener of ESF Pawini gupta and it covered events like BGMI, I’m Engineer and Stylist’s Bonanza. TACHYON served as a platform for participants to showcase their technical skills and creative solutions, ending into a fun festival.
Beyond studies, the fest brought liveliness with DJ for the students. The event culminated in a thrilling prize distribution ceremony, recognizing exceptional talent and marking the successful conclusion of TACHYON 4.0.

4. Competitive Exams: Tips and strategies for excelling in civil services, banking, GATE, GRE, and more, with a focus on Aptitude Baba's guidance.

A seminar on "Strategies to Excel in GATE and Other Comprehensive Exams," organized by the Electronics Student Forum of the Department of Electronics Technology at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, took place on April 6th, 2023. The seminar began with a warm and humble welcome from the Department Representative, Kaushiki Dhawan, and the Cultural Head, Harsh*ta Garg, to Mr. Jitendra Tiwari, the founder of MADE EASY, an esteemed educational publication for students.

During this informative and concise seminar, Mr. Tiwari provided valuable insights into the significance of exams such as GATE, PSUs, ESEs, and various other extensive examinations. He discussed memory-efficient strategies that can help students excel in these exams and clarified the eligibility criteria, including information about scholarships available for exam applicants.

Mr. Tiwari also delivered a motivating speech, encouraging students to believe in their belief systems and emphasizing that nothing is unattainable in this world. He further touched upon NSTs and Civil Services exams, highlighting various job opportunities and master's degree programs available for students after graduation.

The event received an enthusiastic response from the students, with approximately 120 attendees viewing it as an invaluable platform for gaining information and guidance. In closing, Department Representative Kaushiki Dhawan expressed gratitude to our esteemed guest for dedicating his time to educate and inspire the students, encouraging them to believe in themselves and never give up.
