Dashain is the biggest festival of Nepal — a time of blessings, victory, and togetherness. Even though we are miles away from home, the spirit of Dashain united us here in Amritsar. ❤️🇳🇵

The Nepal Students Association (NSA) family, along with our local friends, came together to celebrate this special occasion with tika, music, food, and lots of memories. 🎶🍂
It was not just about tradition, but about feeling at home, cherishing our culture, and spreading happiness beyond boundaries.

Our talented Nepali boys—Ankit Thapa, Dil Bahadur Rokaya, Rohit Mahata, Mahesh Dhami, Sohan Lama, Avishek Thakur, Ravindra Bhatt, Suddep Singh Dhami, Netra Mani Pokhrel & Rohit Chaurasiya—rocked the stage with traditional to trending Nepali hits!

From Bhojpuri to Punjabi beats, every dance repped culture and spirit beautifully!

And the biggest surprise?
Two girls (Sudikshna & Ananya) from Jammu performed on viral Nepali songs “Rukum Maikota” & “Gorkhe Khukuri”—a magical moment that won every Nepali heart that night!

The Nepal Student's Association (NSA) at Amritsar Group of Colleges proudly hosted a vibrant New Year celebration 🎉 filled with colorful cultural performances , energetic dances 💃🕺, soulful singing 🎤, and stylish modeling —all under one roof in the AGC Auditorium .

The event was graced by our honorable Chief Guest, Dr. Gaurav Tejpal (Principal, AGC) , along with other respected guests: Mr. Jarmanjeet Singh (Warden) , Shruti Ma’am (Placement Cell) , Ranjit Sir (Admission Cell) , Mr. Varun Mehra (PACS Head) , hostel caretakers , faculty, and staff .

"A Flame for Justice: Remembering Prakriti Lamsal" 🕯️

In solemn remembrance of Prakriti Lamsal, we, the Nepalese students of AGC, held a candle burn ceremony to honor her memory and raise our voices against injustice. Prakriti, a third-year BTech student at KIIT, tragically lost her life, reportedly after prolonged harassment. Her passing has ignited protests across Nepal and India, demanding accountability and justice.

The incident has shaken both Nepalese and Indian parliaments, leading to arrests and government inquiries. Yet, justice remains unfinished. We stand united against harassment, violence, and the failure to protect students. No one should face such a fate in pursuit of education.

This is more than just a tribute—it’s a call for action. Let’s ensure no more voices are silenced. Justice must prevail.
