Anushica Sharma, hearing impaired student of DAV Red Cross School for Special Children bagged 1st Runner- up Trophy in National IT Competition 2019. This competition was organized by NIT Kurukshetra in collaboration with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN) Govt. of India at Kurukshetra Haryana at Kurukshetra. Approx. 100 differently abled children from different states of India participated in this competition. Anushica performed very well in all events of competition and bagged the trophy.

Kunal Sharma, hearing impaired student of the school brought laurels to the school and parents by winning Gold Medal in Long Jump in National Deaf Games at Chennai.

An outreach program, this MasterClass aims to empower special children and open food related career options for them. An extremely talented lot, the kids were really intelligent and cooperative.
