The PG Department of Cosmetology organized a workshop on Bridal Makeup on 27 March 2026. The workshop was conducted by professional makeup artist Mandeep Kaur from GM Salon.
The main objective of the workshop was to enhance students’ practical skills and provide them with in-depth knowledge of bridal makeup techniques. During the session, Ms. Mandeep Kaur demonstrated the complete process of bridal makeup, including skin preparation, foundation application, contouring, highlighting, eye makeup, and final finishing touches suitable for bridal looks.
The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, helping students understand current trends and techniques in the beauty industry. It also boosted their confidence and prepared them for real-world professional challenges.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Khalsa College for Women, organized an educational visit to Comfort Inn Amritsar for the B.Voc Nutrition and Dietetics students on 24.02.2026 .The purpose of the visit was to provide practical knowledge about health and hygiene, kitchen design, food preservation factors, and HACCP standards.The visit was conducted under the guidance of the respected Principal, Dr. Surinder Kaur, and the Head of the Department, Dr. Manbir Kaur.During the visit, Ms. Kamaldeep Kaur and Ms. Pooja took the responsibility of organizing and coordinating the program. Students learned about maintaining hygiene in the kitchen, proper kitchen layout, and safe food handling practices.

The visit was informative and helpful for students to understand the practical aspects of food safety and nutrition.
