Seventh Day Activities – NSS Special Camp (09/03/25), VEC Ambikapur
On the last day of the seven-day NSS camp, volunteers took part in:
Prabhat Pheri,
Yoga and Pranayama,
Awareness programs on child marriage, education, etc.
Cleanliness drive at Atal Chowk and cleaning of the overhead tank at the middle school
Closing Ceremony-
The event was attended by:

Shri Girish Gupta ji (District Project Officer, Surguja)

Smt. Archana Pathak (Lecturer)
Mr. Maheedhar Dubey (HOD, Electrical, VEC Ambikapur).
The program ended with a Nukkad Natak and cultural performances by the volunteers.

On the sixth day (08.03.2025) of the seven-day special camp of VEC Ambikapur, the following activities were carried out by the volunteers:
Prabhat Pheri,
Yogasan and Pranayam session,
Door-to-door campaign on the awareness of cybercrime, plantation, and government schemes.
Collection of single-use plastic and cleaning of the drain near Beejpara.
During the Baudhik Paricharcha, the Chief Guest was Shri Ajay Mishra (Lecturer, ITI Ambikapur), and the special guests were Shri Anant Soni, Shri Naresh Sahu, Shri Manoj Kushwaha, and Mrs. Poonam Diwan. They discussed about Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, Mata Jijabai, Maharani Lakshmibai, and other inspiring women.
Additionally, volunteers presented posters and given speech on the occasion of International Women's Day .
In the evening, NSS sports activities were conducted and volunteers participated in cultural activities.

On the fifth day (07.03.2025) of the seven-day special camp of VEC Ambikapur the volunteers carried out the following activities:
Prabhat Pheri
Yogasan and Pranayam
Door-to-door campaign on agricultural technology and government schemes,
Single-use plastic collection near Kadam Talab etc.
In the Baudhik Paricharcha, Dr. R. N. Khare (Principal, VEC Ambikapur) and Dr. Robin Thomas (HOD, Applied Science) spoke about Digital Literacy, the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi, and Financial Awareness.
In the evening, NSS sports activities were conducted.

On the fourth day (06.03.2025) of the seven-day camp at VEC Ambikapur the following activities were carried out by the volunteers:
Prabhat Pheri
Yogasan, Pranayam, and Parade
Door-to-door campaign on Health Awareness
Shokhta Nirman,
Single-use plastic collection.
Additionally, a health check-up camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shrikant Singh Chauhan and Dr. Chandan Keshri from the Urban Health Centre, Nawapara, Ambikapur. Approximately 60 villagers, students, and faculty members benefited from this camp. Free medicines were also distributed to the villagers.
In the evening, sports activities were conducted by the volunteers.

On the third day (05.03.25) of the seven-day special camp, volunteers of VEC Ambikapur carried out various activities, including:
Prabhat Pheri,
Yoga and PT,
Door-to-door awareness campaign,
Session on 'Good Touch, Bad Touch' in the Digma school,
Shramdaan and cleanliness drive and
Cultural activities.
During the Baudhik Paricharcha, the chief guest was Mrs. Awantika Gajoriya (Pradhan Pathak, Govt. Kanya Shiksha Parisar, Ambikapur). The special guest was Mr. Vijay Gajoriya (Yoga Trainer, Aush Vibhag). Other guests included Mrs. Puja Patre (HOD, CSE, VEC Ambikapur) and Mrs. Jasmine Minj (Asst. Prof., CSE, VEC Ambikapur).
The guests spoke about Yoga, Pranayama, diet, women empowerment, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, computer literacy, Cyber Crime and online fraud etc.
Volunteers also participated in NSS games.

On the second day (04.03.2025) of the seven day camp of NSS VEC Ambikapur,the chief guest was Mr. Vinitesh Gupt (P.O. NSS K R Technical College Ambikapur ). The special guests were Mr.Ajay Gupta( Lecturer Govt School Chendra) and Mr. Rachit Mishra. Other guests were Mrs. Bharti Sharma (HOD Civil Engineering Department)and Mrs. Surajkanti (Teacher, Primary School Digma).
The guests Motivated volunteers and they spoke about NSS, Discipline, Food & Nutrition, Environment and Digital Literacy etc. NSS volunteers delivered speeches and the students of primary school participated in cultural activities.Additionally, the following activities were conducted by the volunteers:
Cleanliness drive,
Collection of single-use plastic,
Door-to-door campaign on Health,
Help in conduction of TB checkup and treatment camp of Health department in ayushman swasthya kendra Digma,
Repairing and fitting of electric equipment in the Middle school Digma and
NSS games.

The NSS seven day special camp of VEC Ambikapur commenced today (03/03/2025 )at the adopted village Digma. On the inaugural day the chief guest was Mr. Kamlesh Soni Ji (Jila Sanyojak, Chhattisgarh Yog Ayog). The special guests were Mrs. Madhubani Rajwade (Secretary, Gram Panchayat Digma) and Mrs. Kaushalya Varma (Principal, Middle School Digma). Other guests were Dr. H. Chandra (Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department) and Dr. R.K. Sahu (Associate Professor, Chemistry).
The guests spoke about Yogasan, Pranayama, Surya Namaskar and Nasha Mukti. NSS volunteers delivered speeches on digital awareness.Additionally, the following activities were conducted by the volunteers:
Cleanliness drive
Collection of single-use plastic
Door-to-door campaign on digital literacy
Cultural activities and
NSS games.
