We are pleased to share that the Department of Chemistry, MMEC, MM(DU) Mullana successfully co-hosted the International 'Porous Materials Workshop 2026', in hybrid mode hosted by CMU Thailand, on 6th August 2026. The workshop aimed to provide insights into CMU 2026 initiatives, foster academic collaboration, and equip participants with knowledge for upcoming opportunities. Heartfelt thanks to the organizers, speakers, and all participants who made this event a success. Special gratitude to CMU 2026 team for the collaboration.
Prof. Dr Bhawna Pareek, Head of the Chemistry Department at MMDU, Mullana convened this workshop along with the Co-ordinators Dr Selva Kumar Ramasamy, Prof. Nirankar Singh and the faculty members of the Chemistry Department.
The workshop witnessed outstanding global participation, with more than 270 registrations from participants representing 15 countries and territories and over 55 institutions and organizations. The hybrid event provided an excellent platform for researchers, academicians, and students to exchange ideas and discuss recent advances in porous materials. We express gratitude to Dr Brij Briz Mohan and Chiang Mai University, Thailand, for providing our department with the opportunity to serve as a co-host for this prestigious international workshop.
A total of 110 faculty members and scholars attended this workshop in offline mode at the Department of Chemistry, MMDU, Mullana.
We are thankful to our Honourable Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director MMEC, Principal MMEC and other officials for their support and encouragement in this workshop.
