The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department, Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized A Deep-Tech Innovation Challenge in collaboration with EPIC, as part of an R&D Activity on 11/05/2026 in CPS Lab. The objective of this challenge is to promote the advanced technological innovations to solve real-world problems and strengthen the innovation ecosystem. In this challenge 19 teams consisted of around 43 students actively participated and showcased their ideas with new design concepts and innovative thinking. The Deep-Tech Innovation Challenge is a forward-looking initiative that promotes advanced technological innovation to solve real-world problems. By supporting deep-tech startups and researchers, it contributes significantly to economic growth, technological advancement, and national development. Deep-Tech Innovation Challenges are powerful platforms that foster creativity, scientific thinking, and entrepreneurship. By encouraging innovative solutions to complex problems, they contribute significantly to economic growth and societal development.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research organized a symposium on the occasion of “National Technology Day” on 11th May 2026. The event was conducted to celebrate technological advancements and create awareness among students regarding emerging technologies, innovation, and research opportunities.
The symposium focused on promoting technical knowledge, creativity, and collaborative learning among students and faculty members. During the event, students actively participated in discussions and presentations related to modern technologies, innovative ideas, and current developments in the engineering field.
Faculty members highlighted the importance of technology in solving real-world challenges and emphasized the need for continuous learning and innovation in today’s competitive environment. The event encouraged students to explore new technologies and understand the role of research and development in nation-building.
The activity also provided an opportunity for students to interact academically, exchange ideas, and improve their communication and presentation skills.
