Blue Colour Day Celebration
The Kindergarten students celebrated Blue Colour Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The classrooms were decorated with beautiful blue balloons, ribbons, and creative artwork. Children dressed in blue outfits and brought blue-coloured objects from home.
Through fun activities, songs, rhymes, and a colouring exercise, the students learned to identify and recognize the colour blue. The celebration provided a joyful learning experience and helped develop their observation, communication, and creative skills.

E-Waste Awareness Activity
On 29th September 2026, an E-Waste Awareness Activity and Competition was organised at S.G.N. Public Sr Sec School through Slogan Writing and Essay Writing. ✍️📝
The activity aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of e-waste, its proper disposal, recycling, and the importance of protecting our environment. 🌱♻️🌏
Students participated enthusiastically and expressed their ideas creatively through meaningful slogans and thoughtful essays. 💡✨

🏔️ A Memorable Excursion to Shimla 🏔️

S.G.N. Public Sr. Sec. School organised a memorable excursion to Shimla on 26th September 2026 for the students of Classes X to XII.

The students had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful surroundings of Kufri, enjoying the attractions at Fun Point, and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Mall Road. The trip provided the students with an opportunity to relax, bond with their friends, and create beautiful memories beyond the classroom.

The day was filled with joy, enthusiasm, laughter and togetherness. The cheerful participation of the students made the excursion truly enjoyable and memorable.

S.G.N. Public Sr. Sec. School organized a Poster Making Competition on _28th September 2026_ in the school premises on the theme _"Probity for Prosperity"_ ✨ (Satyanishtha Se Samriddhi).

The main objective of the competition was to make students aware of the importance of honesty, integrity and transparency in public life and to understand that true prosperity of a nation is built on the foundation of probity. 🇮🇳💡

Students from Classes _VIII to XII_ participated enthusiastically in the competition. 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨 They expressed their creative ideas through colours, slogans and powerful illustrations. 🖌️ The posters depicted messages like:
👉 "Honesty is the Best Policy" ✅
👉 "Corruption Free India - Developed India" 🇮🇳
👉 "Integrity Builds Nation" 💪

The criteria for judgment were relevance to the theme, creativity, message clarity and overall presentation. 📝⭐

🇮🇳✨ *S.G.N. PUBLIC. SR. SEC . SCHOOL organized a series of engaging activities under the SEWA SANKALAP ABHIYAN with an inspiring theme *MERE SAPNO KA BHARAT* for the students of Classes *3rd to 12th* on *18th and 19th September*. The competitions were conducted at three different levels, providing students with a wonderful platform to express their thoughts, creativity and vision for a better India.

Students participated with great enthusiasm and displayed remarkable creativity, confidence and patriotic spirit. Through their drawings, beautiful rangolis and thoughtful speeches, they expressed their dreams and ideas about a progressive, peaceful, clean, green and developed India. 🇮🇳
The activity encouraged students to think creatively, express their ideas confidently and understand their role in building a better nation. The vibrant participation and wonderful efforts of the students made the event truly memorable.

World Ozone Day Celebration
Theme : Global Action for a Cooler Planet

World Ozone Day is observed every year on 16th September to raise awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect it from harmful substances.

A special assembly was conducted at S.G.N. Public Sr. Sec. School to mark World Ozone Day. Ekta Pundir Ma’am sensitised the students about the vital role of the ozone layer in protecting life on Earth and highlighted simple ways to protect our environment. Manmeet Kaur, a student of Class XI, delivered an informative speech highlighting the significance of Ozone Day and the need for collective efforts to safeguard the environment.

To make the celebration more engaging and informative, a quiz on the importance of the ozone layer, its role in protecting life on Earth, and measures to prevent ozone depletion was also conducted. Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their awareness of environmental issues.

Students of Classes VI to VIII were motivated to plant at least one sapling at home or take care of an existing plant. The students enthusiastically participated in the activity and took a pledge to nurture greenery, making the day meaningful and memorable.

The celebration concluded with the inspiring message that protecting the ozone layer today means securing a healthier, safer, and greener future for tomorrow.
