Orange colour Day was celebrated with zest. Orange is a dynamic colour and stimulates imagination and creativity. Our little kids were dressed in shades of orange, shining brightly. The children learnt various other things about the orange colour which also symbolizes enthusiasm, hope and prosperity.The children were asked to bring orange coloured objects in the class on that day. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with orange coloured objects, ribbons and soft toys.

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals, and customs. Students celebrated Teej with great joy and fervor on the school campus. Students came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. Teachers and kids were seen enjoying. Teachers talked about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances, mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Students were delighted to apply mehendi, play on swings, and enjoyed eating traditional sweets.

The children were taken for a fun filled joyous picnic to Herbal park. They enjoyed the jumping, sliding, rocking and riding in the park. This enhanced and boosted the children’s confidence and physical movements in a play way manner.
The children bonded well with each other and learnt to care and share with their friends.They came back to school with happy memories !!!

Children celebrated ‘Black and White’ Day today. The combination of these two colours is often related to ‘day and night, good and evil’ White is associated with peace and black with authority since ages. So even today judges and magistrates wear black.
Our children learnt different things about black and white colour. A presentation about animals and things that are commonly seen in black and white was shown. Rhymes were also shown on white and black and few interesting facts about these colours were shared with them..
