# 🎭 Lord Krishna College of Education, Adhoya (Barara), organized a vibrant cultural programme and talent showcase, "Patron of the Arts 2026," with the objective of promoting students' creativity, artistic excellence, and India's rich cultural heritage.
The programme was graced by Shri Dilbag Singh (DIET) as the Chief Guest. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Honourable Secretary , Principal, staff members and students. . Assistant Professor Ms. Preeti warmly welcomed the guests, faculty members, and student on this occassion.
Students from B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. presented a variety of colourful cultural performances, including folk dances, songs, poetry recitations, and patriotic performances representing the diverse traditions of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and other regions of India. Their enthusiastic performances beautifully reflected the spirit of unity in diversity and captivated the audience throughout the event.
A special attraction of the programme was the Ramp Walk, where students confidently showcased their personality, creativity, and self-expression.Addressing the gathering, Shri Ramesh Kumar Sangwan, Secretary of the College, highlighted the role of teachers as Nation Builders and encouraged students to develop a positive mindset and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation..The chief guest Mr Dilbag Singh ji shared his thoughts on the theme "Patron of the Arts." He emphasized that education, along with art, culture, and creative activities, plays a vital role in the holistic development of every student and helps nurture confidence, imagination, and leadership qualities. The celebration also featured several creative competitions, including Rangoli, Hindi Competition, Crafting, Nail Art, Best Out of Waste, Solo Dance, and Poster Making, in which students participated with great enthusiasm.
Winners were awarded First, Second, and Third prizes, while all participants received certificates in recognition of their talent and participation.
The Principal Dr Renu Sohta appreciated the outstanding performances of the students and motivated them to continue developing their artistic talents alongside academic excellence.
Patron of the Arts 2026 concluded on a joyful note, leaving students inspired with greater confidence, creativity, cultural awareness, positivity, and a sense of social responsibility.
