" उधार का अमीर " 100 नम्बर की एक गाड़ी मेन रोड पर एक दो मंजिले मकान के बाहर आकर रुकी।
कांस्टेबल हरीश को फ़ोन पर यही पता लिखाया गया था।पर यहां तो सभी मकान थे। यहां पर खाना किसने मंगवाया होगा?
यही सोचते हुए हरीश ने उसी नम्बर पर कॉल बैक की।
"अभी दस मिनट पहले इस नम्बर से भोजन के लिए फोन किया गया था।आप जतिन जी बोल रहे हैं क्या? हम मकान न0 112 के सामने खड़े हैं, कहाँ आना है।"
दूसरी तरफ से जबाब आया ,"आप वहीं रुकिए, मैं आ रहा हूं।"
एक मिनट बाद 112 न0 मकान का गेट खुला और करीब पैंसठ वर्षीय सज्जन बाहर आए।
उन्हें देखते ही हरीश गुस्से में बोले,"आप को शर्म नही आई, इस तरह से फोन करके खाना मंगवाते हुए,गरीबों के हक का जब *आप जैसे अमीर* खाएंगे तो गरीब तक खाना कैसे पहुंचेगा।"
मेरा यहां तक आना ही बर्बाद गया।"
साहब ! ये शर्म ही थी जो हमें यहां तक ले आयी।
सर्विस लगते ही शर्म के मारे लोन लेकर घर बनवा लिया।आधे से ज्यादा सेलरी क़िस्त में कटती रही और आधी बच्चों की परवरिश में जाती रही।
अब रिटायरमेंट के बाद कोई पेंशन नही थी तो मकान का एक हिस्सा किराये पर दे दिया।अब लाक डाउन के कारण किराया भी नही मिला।बेटे की सर्विस न लगने के कारण जो फंड मिला था उससे बेटे को व्यवसाय करवा दिया और वो जो भी कमाता गया व्यवसाय बड़ा करने के चक्कर में उसी में लगाता गया और कभी बचत करने के लिए उसने सोचा ही नही। अब 20 दिन से वो भी ठप्प है।पहले साल भर का गेंहू -चावल भर लेते थे पर बहू को वो सब ओल्ड फैशन लगता था तो शर्म के मारे दोनो टँकी कबाड़ी को दे दीं।अब बाजार से दस किलो पैक्ड आटा और पांच किलो चावल ले आते हैं।राशन कार्ड बनवाया था तो बच्चे वहां से शर्म के मारे राशन उठाने नही जाते थे कि कौन लाइन लगाने जाय इसलिए वो भी निरस्त हो गया।जन धन अकाउंट हमने ही बहू का खोलवा दिया था ,पर उसमें एक भी बार न तो जमा हुआ न ही निकासी हुई और खाता बन्द हो गया।इसलिये सरकार से आये हुए पैसे भी नही निकाल सके।मकान होने के कारण शर्म के मारे किसी सामाजिक संस्था से भी मदद नही मांग सकते थे।कल से जब कोई रास्ता नहीं दिखा और सुबह जब पोते को भूख से रोते हुए देखा तो सारी शर्म एक किनारे रख कर 112 डायल कर दिया।इन दीवारों ने हमको अमीर तो बना दिया साहब ! पर अंदर से खोखला कर दिया।मजदूरी कर नहीं सकते थे और आमदनी इतनी कभी हुई नही की बैंक में इतना जोड़ लेते की कुछ दिन बैठकर जीवन व्यतीत कर लेते।आप ही बताओ ! मैं क्या करता।कहते हुए जतिन जी फफक पड़े।
हरीश को समझ नहीं आ रहा था कि क्या बोले।वो चुपचाप गाड़ी तक गया और लंच पैकेट निकालने लगा। तभी उसे याद आया कि उसकी पत्नी ने कल राशन व घर का जो भी सामान मंगवाया था वो कल से घर न जा पाने के कारण डिग्गी में ही पड़ा हुआ है।उसने डिग्गी खोली, सामान निकाला और लंच पैकेट के साथ साथ सारा सामान जतिन के गेट पर रखा और बिना कुछ बोले गाड़ी में आकर बैठ गया।गाड़ी फिर किसी ऐसे ही भाग्यहीन अमीर का घर ढूंढने जा रही थी।
