They got a chance to see various animals like lions and snakes up close, making it a fun and educational experience. Today was a day of solemn remembrance, honoring the sacrifice of the four sons and the mother of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru in Sikhism. A special program was organised in the school complex dedicated to the martyrdom.

The program commenced with the rhythmic recitation of poems that echoed the bravery and unwavering spirit of the martyrs. Young voices filled the room, narrating tales of sacrifice and valor, captivating the audience with their heartfelt tributes.

Distinguished scholars from the historic Gurdwara Panjokhra Sahib graced the event, their presence radiating wisdom and reverence. With grace and humility, they took the stage, sharing profound insights into the detailed history of the martyrs’ sacrifice.

With eloquence, the scholars painted a vivid picture of the sacrifice made by Guru Gobind Singh’s family. They recounted the trials faced by the four sons—Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh—and the unparalleled courage displayed by Mata Gujri, their grandmother.

The students listened intently, their young minds absorbing the wisdom and courage of those who stood firm in the face of adversity. The scholars illuminated the consequences of this sacrifice, emphasizing the enduring legacy of bravery and the timeless values of Sikhism.

Through the scholarly lectures and poignant recitations, the significance of the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh’s family was etched deeper into the hearts and minds of the students. Dashmesh Public School, hosted the Inter-House Chess competition to provide a platform to its students to improve their logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem-solving. Young budding students participated in the Inter-House Chess Competition 28th November 2023.

Students were all geared up to beat their opponents in nail-biting matches.
Mandeep Singh (Red House) from 6th grade won his final match and became Chess Champion.🏆

Students of class 8th organised a tree-plantation drive.

The purpose was to create awareness and spread the message of protecting our environment from pollution caused due to burning of crackers during Diwali.

Diwali often involves fireworks and increased pollution levels. Planting trees on Diwali helps counterbalance the environmental impact by promoting cleaner air, reducing pollution, and restoring ecological balance.

Inter School Kho-Kho Competition

Sports play a major role in shaping the personality of a child. Dashmesh Public School conducted the Inter School Kho-Kho Competition. Students participated in a sportive spirit with a great zeal. They wonderfully showcased the basics concerned about the sport -Building fitness, engaging in self defense and increasing concentration.

Getting on the way an inter-house Kho-Kho championship was organized in the school. All three houses had their teams ready for the event. All the players put their Best efforts to make their team victorious.Red House Boys and Yellow House Girls emerged as the winner of the match and declared as the champion of the trophy. The winner team and the participant teams were cheered by the staff and students as well.
