I, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dean of Lords School of Agricultural Sciences, along with faculty member Mr. Shambhu Chouhan, had the privilege of visiting a progressive farmer's Mr. Akhil Yadav BMS organic farm at Nanga Heera Village, Kithoor, Alwar. Mr. Akhil Yadav provided a detailed explanation and survey of the mushroom cultivation unit, demonstrating the entire process from start to finish. It was inspiring to see the farmer utilizing all essential tools and instruments efficiently, ensuring scientific and sustainable cultivation. We also explored potential collaborations through MoUs to promote innovative agricultural practices. A truly insightful and productive visit!

ONE-DAY ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARENESS PROGRAM & AI WORKSHOP

किसान दिवस पर छात्र और किसानों को सिखायी खेती करने की बारीकिया

अलवर- भारत में हर वर्ष 23 दिसंबर को राष्ट्रीय किसान दिवस मनाया जाता है, जो पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री चौधरी चरण सिंह की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में किसानों के प्रति सम्मान प्रकट करने का दिन है। हाल ही में, अलवर में लॉईस स्कूल ऑफ एग्रीकल्चर एंड साइंस में संयुक्त रूप से किसान दिवस मनाया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में संस्था के डीन डॉ. दिनेश कुमार ने किसानों को सरकार की विभिन्न योजनाओं, जैसे किसान सम्मान निधि, फसल बीमा योजना, किसान दुर्घटना बीमा, मिट्टी की जांच, उन्नत बीजों एवं उर्वरकों की उपलब्धता के बारे में जानकारी दी। इसके साथ साथ संस्था के कृषि संकाय के समस्त प्रोफेसर डॉ. शिवानी यादव, राजेंद्र चौधरी, शम्भू चौहान, प्रदीप कुमार, विनोद कुमार व माखन लाल सैनी ने योजनाओं का अधिकतम लाभ उठाने की अपील की। इस कार्यक्रम में किसान मजीद, रहमान खान, दीन मोहम्मद, तस्लीम खान ने अपने अनुभवों की छात्रों के साथ बातचीत की। इसके अतिरिक्त, कृषि क्षेत्र में करियर बनाने के इच्छुक युवाओं के लिए भी अवसरों पर चर्चा की गई। एग्रीकल्चर में बीएससी या एमएससी करके युवा कृषि उपकरणों के डिजाइन, फसल उत्पाद तैयार करने वाली कंपनियों में रोजगार के अवसर प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। किसान दिवस के अवसर पर, देशभर में किसानों के योगदान को सम्मानित करने और उनकी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाता है, जिससे कृषि क्षेत्र का विकास हो सके और किसानों की स्थिति में सुधार हो।
