🌿 Biodiversity Visit | 🌈Pride Walk Academy 🧿 (Grade 1 & 2)
S – Situation
At 🌈Pride Walk Academy, we believe that real learning begins beyond the classroom walls. Our Grade 1 and 2 students embarked on an enriching Biodiversity Visit, stepping into nature to observe, explore, and connect with the living world around them.
C – Challenge
In today’s digital-first environment, children often learn about plants, animals, and ecosystems through books and screens, limiting real-world sensory exposure and emotional connection with nature.
N – Need
Young learners need hands-on, experiential learning to truly understand biodiversity, environmental balance, and the importance of caring for our planet—especially at an early, impressionable age.
L – Learning
Through this visit, students:
• Observed different plants, insects, birds, and natural habitats 🌱
• Learned the importance of trees, soil, water, and animals in our ecosystem
• Asked curious questions and shared joyful discoveries
• Developed respect, responsibility, and love for nature
This outdoor learning experience nurtured curiosity, observation skills, empathy, and environmental awareness, beautifully aligning with NEP 2020’s experiential and holistic learning approach.
At 🌈Pride Walk Academy, we don’t just teach children about the world—we help them experience it, feel it, and care for it. 🌍✨
