Fancy Dress Competition Lights Up Christmas Celebrations 🎊

The Christmas spirit came alive at Children’s Academy Convent School with a grand Fancy Dress Competition held on December 24th. The event, which was a part of the festive celebrations, was an exciting platform for students from Pre-Primary to Class 8th to showcase their creativity and talent.🎀

The themes for the competition were diverse and inspiring, ranging from Freedom Fighters and Politicians to TV Celebrities, Bollywood Stars, and Sports Personalities. Each participant brought their character to life with remarkable costumes, captivating performances, and confident presentations.🎊

The event was graced by the esteemed Group Director Ma’am Mrs. Ashima Gupta, who served as the judge. She commended the participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and effort in making the event a grand success.✨

Adding to the festive cheer, Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, spreading joy and laughter among the students. Santa distributed candies, making the celebration even sweeter and more memorable for everyone.💫

One-Day Historical Tour to Musi Maharani Ki Chhatri and Alwar Museum
Class 11th & 12th, Guided by History Teacher Pankaj Parmar Sir

On a crisp and sunny morning, the students of Class 11th & 12th embarked on an enriching one-day historical tour to Musi Maharani Ki Chhatri and the Alwar Museum, under the knowledgeable guidance of their History teacher, Pankaj Parmar Sir. This trip was not just a break from the classroom routine but also a hands-on learning experience about the glorious past of Alwar.

First Stop: Musi Maharani Ki Chhatri

The journey began with a visit to the Musi Maharani Ki Chhatri, an exquisite cenotaph located amidst scenic beauty. Built in memory of Queen Musi, this historical monument showcases remarkable Rajputana architecture, with intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere.

Mr. Parmar provided detailed insights into the monument's history, explaining its significance as a tribute to the queen's virtues and sacrifice. The students were captivated by the structure's aesthetic appeal, the blend of red sandstone and white marble, and the beautifully carved domes. They also learned how such chhatris were traditionally built to honor royalty and reflect the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

Second Stop: Alwar Museum

Next, the group proceeded to the Alwar Museum, located within the majestic City Palace of Alwar. The museum is a treasure trove of artifacts, including rare manuscripts, weaponry, miniature paintings, and royal costumes.

Guided by Mr. Parmar’s deep understanding of historical artifacts, the students explored the various sections of the museum. He highlighted the significance of the miniature paintings, especially those from the Alwar School of Art, and discussed the evolution of weaponry during the Rajput and Mughal eras. The students were particularly intrigued by the collection of rare manuscripts, which provided a glimpse into the literary and artistic achievements of the past.

Learning and Reflection:-

For the youngest students, from Nursery to Class 2, a delightful skit was performed, where teachers humorously acted as students. This unique performance brought laughter and joy to the little ones, making their day extra special. The children were thrilled to see their teachers in a playful avatar, imitating a typical classroom scenario. Their giggles and cheers filled the auditorium, making the event a memorable one for all.

# # # Gurpurab Celebrations with Prabhat Feri
In honor of Gurpurab, students and teachers from Classes Nursery to 2nd participated in a **Prabhat Feri**. The procession, accompanied by devotional singing and prayers, spread a message of peace and harmony. The fervor of the occasion was evident as everyone joined together to celebrate the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

# # # Food and Game Stalls for Classes 3 to 12
For older students, the school organized a vibrant carnival with **food and game stalls**, turning the school ground into a hub of fun and excitement. Various stalls, managed by students with the guidance of teachers, offered delicious treats and engaging games. The Director Ma’am and Principal Sir inaugurated the celebrations by visiting the stalls, purchasing items, and wholeheartedly enjoying the festive spirit with the students.

Their participation and encouragement motivated everyone. Teachers actively helped students in managing the stalls, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The teamwork and collaboration between students and teachers added a unique charm to the event.

The festivities began with the **Ramayan Manchan** for the pre-primary kids. Teachers and young students alike brought the timeless epic of the Ramayana to life through a series of short skits and performances. The little ones, dressed in colorful costumes, portrayed characters from the story of Ram’s journey back to Ayodhya. This event not only entertained but also helped introduce the pre-primary students to the moral lessons behind Diwali in an engaging way.

For the primary students, various creative competitions took center stage. The **Diya and Lantern Making Competition** saw young artists crafting intricate designs, using colorful papers, paints, and eco-friendly materials to create unique diyas and lanterns. Students participated enthusiastically in various activities, including Radhe-Krishna dance, devotional singing and a captivating "Krishna Leela" play, which highlighted key episodes from Lord Krishna's life. The event also featured a traditional Dahi Handi ceremony, where students formed human pyramids to break the pot, symbolizing Krishna's playful nature.
