Six officers of the , including three graduated from the Observer School at on 15 January 2021. In a ceremony held at INS Garuda, Rear Admiral Deepak Bansal, Admiral Superintendent, , Kochi awarded the coveted ‘Golden Wings’ to the passing out officers. In the course spanning 55 weeks, the officers were trained in tactics, , exploitation of systems, , air regulations, , flying procedures and . These officers would serve onboard and Warfare aircraft of the Indian Navy as and would shoulder the responsibility of mission accomplishment in any operation. Sub Lieutenant Prateek Khandekar was awarded the Book Prize for being adjudged ‘Best in Overall Order of Merit’ from the Course. Sub Lieutenant Prachi Mishra was awarded the book prize for being adjudged 'Best in Flying' from the course.
