Area = side × side = side²
क्षेत्रफल = भुजा × भुजा = भुजा²

Perimeter = 4 × side
परिमाप = 4 × भुजा
3. Rectangle (आयत)

Area = length × breadth
क्षेत्रफल = लंबाई × चौड़ाई

Perimeter = 2 × (length + breadth)
परिमाप = 2 × (लंबाई + चौड़ाई)

A can complete a job in 10 days and B in 15 days. Working together, how many days will they take?

Solution:
A does in 10 days → 1 day work = 1/10
B does in 15 days → 1 day work = 1/15
Together =
(1/10)+(1/15) = 5/30 = 1/6
