proach it employs, which also helps students to learn a foreign language in a stress-free way. Hindi is a phonetic language and has its own script, which is called the "Devanagari" script. At Sankalp, the thrust is to learn Hindi in totality. As such, it has several levels of language. They are:

Level One: The beginners' level. The student is introduced to Hindi's consonants and vowels, how together they form words, which in turn form simple sentences. This level teaches some everyday words - simple vocabulary, numbers, colours, names of vegetables, fruits, weekdays, parts of the body, simple conversational pieces, etc. Level Two: The vocabulary is more intense in this level. The student is introduced to simple structure patterns, adjectives, simple nouns, the verbs "to be" and "to happen." Script is practiced where students are put to extensive writing skills. Level Three: Hindi revolves majorly around the verb structure. In level three, conjunct verbs and compound verbs are brought out. More emphasis is placed on diction and clarity of speech. Level Four: By level four, Hindi gets more flowing. While it may appear easy language wise, the climb becomes steeper. More complex structures, such as causative / phrasal adjectives are practiced. Comparatives, superlatives, and high-level Hindi words are taught. Level Five: This level is achieved after a lot of hard work. Students are expected to write papers on relevant topics, as well as speak fluently. They are expected to read books written by Indian authors. By this level, various aspects of Indian speech become easier for the students to understand. The effort through the coaching is to teach students as efficiently as possible However, if the student is unable to complete the levels as expected, then the student has to repeat the level until he/she reaches proficiency.
