SHUKRACHARIYA - EXTRA ORDINARY GURU OF OTHER SIDE
Shukracharya (Venus) the strictest teacher of this world as his students are none other than the Asuras (demon). He leads the Asuras, without his guidance the Asuras would destroy each other.
His birth name was Ushna the son of sage Bhrigu who composed Bhrigu Samhita, so you know how much enriched Venus is with all the celestial knowledge.
ShukracharyaтАЩs first Guru in life was Sage Angiras тАУ the father of Jupiter (Brihaspati). Due to his immense favoritism towards his own son Jupiter, Shukra left his first guru and went to Sage Gautam for further studies.
Though his father was a great Brahmin, still he chose to be the preceptor of Asuras (Demon)
Shukracharya who maintains the harmony of the creation. Remember, opposites keep the creation sustained.
What is the importance of food without hunger? What is the importance of water without thirst?
In this way, Shukracharya served Lord KrishnaтАЩs quality of maintaining the universe, but on the daityaтАЩs side.
Venus gets exalted in Pisces. Surrendering only occurs in Pisces. It's the last sign of the zodiac where Venus feels most happiness, where he devote himself to only God!
Shukracharya was one of the cleverest and the wisest person, who were already blinded of envy from Devatas. His immense knowledge was the reason for getting respect from all.
He was the one who taught political science to Bhishma.
The guidance of Guru Brihaspati to Devatas many times failed due to the cunning and quick planning of Shukracharya. But we should not forget that the ultimate God Shri Vishnu is always in the savior of Satwaik qualities not Rajasik or Tamasik.
Hedonistic, materialistic, pleasure seeking philosophy epitomizes well with Venus while Brihaspati the great teacher of those who believe in the other world and rebirth.
There are many stories of Shukrachya in our mythology and the one which is lesser known was the one due to his distaste against Vishnu, He helped Hiranyakashyap in a shameful act to kill Prahlad -the great devotee of Vishnu. Devi Ganga had asked Shukracharya not to indulge himself in this sinful act but Shukracharya did not desist from his support of the demons.
Shukracharya sent his two son named Chanda and Amarka to invoke demon to kill Vishnu Devotee Prahlad. But everything was in vain and that demon killed his two sons instead.
But later Shukracharya was all set to save king Bali - the grandson of Prahlad. So the orientation of liking and disliking changes with Venus.
On this auspicious day, I pay my obeisance ЁЯЩПЁЯП╗ to all great Gurus, from Vasishtha to Dronacharya, Ved Vyas to Valmiki, Vishwamitra to Shukracharya.
