A meeting of the examination committee chaired by the Honorable Vce-chancellor Professor Sangita Srivastava was held today in the online mode. It was decided in the meeting that the students of second year of undergraduate course and intermediate semester of postgraduate and professional courses will be promoted to the higher classes or semester. The students of Third year of undergraduate courses will be promoted and marksheet will be awarded on the basis of their performance in the previous class. For the students of undergraduate first year courses and postgraduate or professional final semester the examinations will be held in the July - August 2021 depending on the then prevailing pandemic situation.
The committee also resolved that for the purpose of the implementation of the
reservation policy with respect to CRET 2020 admission in the University, the individual departments of the University are to be treated as separate units as
vacancies are to be calculated under faculty members of a particular subject. For the purpose of application of reservation in constituent colleges, the colleges are to be treated as separate units and like University, seats for research admissions are to be calculated college wise/department wise in order to be in conformity with policy being adopted.

Summer vacations of the university preponed : To begin from 4 May 2021
An online meeting of the all the deans of the university was convened by the Hon. Vice chancellor Prof. Sangita Srivastava today. It was decided in the meeting to prepone the summer vacations from the scheduled 15th May 2021 to 4th May 2021. The university will observe the rescheduled vacation from 4th May and reopen on the 5th of July 2021. The preponing of the the vacation has been done in view of the fact that the University is seeing a rising number of fatalities among the teaching and non teaching staff due to Covid and the families of almost all the university employees are affected by Covid-19.
The meeting of the Examination Committee will be held shortly . The decision regarding the exams and the results will be made when the meeting takes place. The stakeholders are required to wait for the meeting for relevant information.
