Proud Moment for Dept of English, SHUATS
A big congratulations to Dr Hira Bose, Associate Professor, Dept of English, SHUATS, who was awarded the Bangla Bhushan Rashtriya Gourav Samman 2026 by the National Academy of Saksharta Mission (NASM), Government of India in collaboration with the World Wide Awards Group. She was also presented with a Certificate of Excellence and a memento in a ceremony held in Kolkata, West Bengal on 26 July 2026.
The Head, staff, and students of the Department of English extend their best wishes to her.

The Final Defense Exam of Mr Saif Mukhtar, a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of English, SHUATS, was held on Friday, 24 July 2026 at 10.30 a.m. in the Language Lab of the department.
We are grateful to the External Examiner, Prof. (Dr) Jaya Kapoor from the University of Allahabad, and the Chairperson of the Examination Board, Prof. (Dr) Shabana Mazhar, Joseph School of Business Studies and Commerce, SHUATS.
