Some lessons are not written in books. They are discovered through compassion!

During our trek to Buxa, the students of Oakland Public School did something truly meaningful. Before the journey began, they worked together to raise funds, not for attention, not for praise,but simply to help someone in need.

There, among the quiet hills, we met an elderly mother, over 85 years old, living alone with strength and dignity. When our students handed her the collected amount, it wasn’t charity, it was humanity. A moment of connection, respect, and pure kindness.

We are not sharing this for applause.
We share it to appreciate our students, to honor their thoughtfulness, and to inspire others to take initiative when they see a chance to help.

Our students are becoming better human beings and we could not be more proud. 💛🌿

Our Oakland Public School students went on a trek to Buxa Fort, and returned with something priceless:
Respect for our environment and responsibility toward our nation.

They collected every piece of trash they found — because a clean India isn’t a wish…
It’s action.

OAKVENTURE | Chapter 1: The Journey Begins! 🌄💚

Video is coming Up!! ⏰

What an unforgettable adventure! Our young Oaklanders set out on their first-ever OAKVENTURE! A thrilling trek from Santalabari to the historic Buxa Fort, Lepchakha, Tashigaon, through misty forests, rain-soaked trails, and the breathtaking hills of North Bengal! ⛰️✨

They braved the rains, explored Lepchaka and Tashigaon, interacted with local communities, and learned through every moment. From the stories of Buxa Fort’s rich history to the traditions of the mountain people , it was learning beyond books, straight from the heart of nature and heritage. 🌿📖

Our students didn’t just trek , they grew. They discovered discipline, teamwork, and resilience in real-life situations, learning that every challenge teaches something new. 💪💚

And what makes us proudest? They carried one polythene bag each and collected every piece of trash they found , keeping the hills clean and winning hearts with their sense of responsibility. 🌍♻️

From conducting community surveys to breathing in the clouds, forests, and stories of the hills, OAKVENTURE Chapter 1 was more than an expedition… it was a journey of courage, character, and care. 🌧️🌿
