🙏😊Today we celebrated the 80th Independence Day at Shri Aurobindo Sishu Niketan — a day of pride, patriotism, and joyful memories. The flag was hoisted and the national anthem was sung in the school grounds. The program then moved to the school hall, where students enlivened the celebration with patriotic songs, vibrant dances, recitations, and heartfelt speeches. We also paid tribute to Shri Aurobindo Ghosh on his 154th birth anniversary. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳✨

An art and recitation competition was held in our school classrooms on 14-08-2026 to celebrate the 80th Indian Independence Day and the 154th birth anniversary of Shri Aurobindo Ghosh. The students performed magnificently and gave their very best, making the celebration both memorable and inspiring.

The birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the architect of modern West Bengal and the second Chief Minister of our state, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. The day is also observed across India as Doctor’s Day in his honour, to remember his immense contribution as a great physician and a noble human being.
